The NITI Aayog-led Shoonya campaign, in partnership with MyGov India, is thrilled to announce the electric vehicles Townhall, an open discussion platform for citizens to share valuable ideas and suggestions to promote and enhance the clean electric mobility ecosystem in India. The Townhall focuses on electric vehicles (EVs) and their associated advantages, including cost savings, clean air, health benefits, and emission reduction.

In line with this initiative, NITI Aayog in collaboration with MyGov, invites input from citizens.

The electric vehicle (EV) is emission free but to charge its battery, we need electricity supply that is still dominated by thermal power plants causing pollution. India is presently generating about 100,000 Megawatts of electricity from Hydro, Solar and Wind power. There being no certainty of the level of generation of electricity from such sources, it is a challenging task to smoothly mange the combined generation of electricity from such sources and the conventional thermal (or to a small extent, nuclear) power plants to ensure that there is no shortfall vis a vis the demand in any part of the nation. The electricity distribution grids from multiple electricity generating plants operating on different sources of energy spread all over the nation have to be attuned and synchronized for maximum economy of using coal-fired plants. That will help India to achieve backward integration of the electric vehicle (EV) campaign with the broader green energy campaign.

1.we have to go to outside for fuel in filling station but we charge the EV then we have no need to go to outside. 2.we can say that we are Atmanirbhar Bharat and we are self dependent. 3.By this,we can avoid air pillution and we can live without any diseases. 4.Our generation have not face to any difficulty of transportation.
