Charging the battery of an electric vehicle is relatively easy for a two-wheeler as charging is possible from a home 15 Amp electrical outlet. But for a four-wheeler with a long range, charging from home takes too long and for some electric cars, it might not be feasible. For that, we need a chain of charging stations along the way and the metering of the service needs proper mechanisms. For a country like India, it is a massive business to set up such chains. The long time needed for charging calls for resting places for the passengers as it is best not to remain in the car and use part of the charging power to run the facilities like A/C.

Dear sir, Kindly consider enforcing Crowd Controlling Mechanisms for all public places. Similar to some of public places in India we must do the following for religious sites/pilgrimages/places, etc. 1. Decide maximum footfall allowed per site : do not allow any more than decided / registered strength (pre booked). Waiting halls for crowd control, having waiting strength of minimum 1000/hall. Minimum 40 such halls per site. 2. Deploy CCTV at all public places/sites. 3. On-Ground permanent monitoring staff - at all fourways / public places (PVT SECURITY/hired) within city premises for regular law enforcement like helmet checks, etc. Helps make citizen law abiding. This statement can be supported in the way that, After installation of EVs it is important to build charging stations. It becomes important to replace Petrol pumps with EVs charging stations after complete replacement of fuel consuming vehicles with EVs.
