The NITI Aayog-led Shoonya campaign, in partnership with MyGov India, is thrilled to announce the electric vehicles Townhall, an open discussion platform for citizens to share valuable ideas and suggestions to promote and enhance the clean electric mobility ecosystem in India. The Townhall focuses on electric vehicles (EVs) and their associated advantages, including cost savings, clean air, health benefits, and emission reduction.

In line with this initiative, NITI Aayog in collaboration with MyGov, invites input from citizens.

Electric Vehicle charging infrastructures have machinery and equipment necessary and important to support a EV including battery charging stations, rapid charging stations and battery exchange stations. Taking consideration benefits of Electric Vehicle and increasing Electric Vehicle usage, Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructures have gain importance. This Charging Stations should be in required quantity and costumer friendly.

My suggestion 1. EV infrastructure is needed one as I creasing EV vehicles. We can keep power stations or charging stations every area like petrol stations. Electricity in sunny places can combine with natural energy sources like solar, wind energy , bio gases etc. So that the sourcing charge will be less and it is benefits to environment also.

The auto rickshaws plying in Indian cities have already successfully passed the first fuel-transformation from petrol/diesel to natural gas. They are the best candidates for the second transformation from natural gas to electricity. Their route lengths are mostly well within the range provided by electrical drive to enable a good number of trips on a single charge, and the recharging time is also low. Thus, they have greater compatibility with a chain of charging stations spread across the city. They will provide familiarization for the citizens and the auto-drivers will naturally share first-hand knowledge through their normal conversation with the curious passengers. Citizens will start acquiring electric two-wheelers. Gradually, a large section of two and three-wheeler vehicles running on petrol/diesel/natural gas and producing pollution in congested cities will migrate to electric drives. A reasonable subsidy in the price will accelerate the transformation.

My Ideas for ways ELECTRIC VEHICLES CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE The move towards green energy is leading to soaring electric vehicle sales in India. But India may not have enough infrastructure to cater to the demand from the rising number of electric vehicles. India has made headway in seeding an EV revolution. However, achieving a sustainable mobility ecosystem calls for urgently scaling up green charging infrastructure backed by renewable energy. Technology improvements, public-private collaborations and innovative financing models can aid this green transition. With strong government resolve and stakeholder participation across the value chain, India is poised to lead the way in building EV infrastructure that is future-ready and environmentally conscious. Finally my hope is want to improve country.

EV are new mode of sustainable public vehicles but to enhance it's reach strategic planning is required as at first policy has to be set up by govt to scrap old vehicles first then prioritize less use of petrol and diesel for transport to take alternate as EV and start a campaign widespread to urban areas about it's importance. So to come to EV's charging station designated places close to malls, parks, and channelizing every 20 km gap to one EV charging station should be placed to ease out convenience for users Akash Das, Tripura

To enhance EV charging accessibility, consider strategic placement in urban areas, prioritize public spaces, and integrate with existing infrastructure to promote widespread convenience. Additionally, explore incentives for private businesses to host charging stations and invest in user-friendly payment systems.

My ideas and suggestions to promote and enhance the clean electric mobility ecosystem in India: Skill Development Programs: Training Programs for Mechanics: Implement skill development programs to train mechanics and service technicians in electric vehicle maintenance and repair. This addresses concerns about the availability of skilled professionals to support the growing electric vehicle ecosystem. Collaboration with Technical Institutes: Collaborate with technical institutes and vocational training centers to incorporate courses on electric vehicle technology. This ensures a continuous supply of skilled workforce for the expanding electric mobility sector.
