The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India envisages a judicial system that is more accessible, efficient, and equitable for every individual who engages with the justice delivery system. The right of access to justice, guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution encompasses the right to access live court proceedings.

To imbue greater transparency, inclusivity and foster access to justice, the e-Committee has undertaken the project of live streaming of court proceedings on priority. This will enable access to live court proceedings, including on matters of public interest to citizens, journalists, civil society, academicians, and law students on a real-time basis, which was not otherwise possible owing to geographical, logistical, or infrastructural issues.

The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India invites inputs, feedback, and suggestions on the Draft Model Rules for Live-Streaming and Recording of Court Proceedings.

Streaming of real time Court proceedings will bring more clarity in getting the innocent Aquitted and people will have the trust and faith established in judiciary, moreover the witness who were shy or felt like killing their good GOD's INNER VOICE for being targetted by a few may become bold to expose and we shall see a transformation due to social platforms. THE NEWS CHANNELS SHOULD ADD A DATE STAMP ALONG WITH their LOGOs across all channels so we can be aware of the content being relayed.

Hon'ble PM Ji, Nowadays all people of India are using Internet as a tool for education and business purpose. I read draft prepared by Supreme Court of India. All the points mentioned in the draft are most important. But for live streaming and early disposal of cases our Govt must establish Court Monitoring Wing and separate Cyber Security Wing for proper implementation of Court proceedings. Jai Hind, Vande Mataram.

There is a need for the deployment of a robust security system that provides secure access to case information for appropriate parties. e-Courts Project The e-Courts project was conceptualized on the basis of the “National Policy and Action Plan for Implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the Indian Judiciary – 2005” submitted by e-Committee, Supreme Court of India with a vision to transform the Indian Judiciary by ICT enablement of Courts.
