The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued draft rules to ensure ease of using drones in India on the basis of trust, self-certification, and non-intrusive monitoring. The Drone Rules, 2021, once notified, will supersede the UAS Rules, 2021, which came into force on March 12 this year.

The Rules aim to make the process of owning, possessing, exporting, importing, manufacturing, trading, leasing, operating, transferring, or maintaining a drone in India, simpler and hassle-free. For that, the draft rules seek to abolish the requirement of various approvals, ranging from certificate of conformance, certificate of maintenance, import clearance, to student remote pilot licences.

Besides, it proposes the development of drone corridors for cargo deliveries and a drone promotion council to be set up to facilitate a drone-friendly regulatory regime in the country.

Drone should not be provided to the civilian otherwise it can be misused for theft and private life can be disturb by flying here and there. Police can be used with display the number like motor vehicle . Indian army must use it for better security and save life. Drone must be in the hand of state police. Drone police can be made under the central government.

Drones must be prohibited from any authorized area. For example they should be ban for flying then in areas like airports, army camp, parliament, President's house Pm's house, Cm's house etc and if needed, the person who is flying it should take permission from the management. They will not fly in any authorized place within the area of about 6 km.

Import of only high end drones shall be allowed for use by military organisations, government law enforcement agencies, research and development agencies and large industrial organisations for safety and security of their establishments. Import of drones shall not be allowed for recreational, commercial and personal use. For this purpose only locally manufactured drones shall be allowed. We have to restrict the drain of foreign exchange on import of non essential items

द्रोण का सार्वजनिक प्रयोग देश की सुरक्षा के लिए अत्यंत खतरनाक है। इसका प्रयोग सिर्फ सशस्त्र बलों के द्वारा ही उचित एवं सुरक्षित है।

द्रोण के सार्वजनिक प्रयोग की अनुमति सर्वथा अनुचित है। यदि ऐसा किया जाएगा तो देश की सुरक्षा को ओर। अधिक खतरे की संभावना है। द्रोण का प्रयोग सिर्फ सुरक्षा बलों के हाथों में होनी चाहिए।

ड्रोन हमारे देश के अंदर और बाहर के आतंकियों से सुरक्षा प्रदान करने में मदद करता है अतः इसकी जिम्मेदारी और संरक्षण केवल देश के समस्त सुरक्षा कर्मियों ,सेनाओं, और सूचना अधिकारियों को मिलनी चाहिए।
