The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued draft rules to ensure ease of using drones in India on the basis of trust, self-certification, and non-intrusive monitoring. The Drone Rules, 2021, once notified, will supersede the UAS Rules, 2021, which came into force on March 12 this year.

The Rules aim to make the process of owning, possessing, exporting, importing, manufacturing, trading, leasing, operating, transferring, or maintaining a drone in India, simpler and hassle-free. For that, the draft rules seek to abolish the requirement of various approvals, ranging from certificate of conformance, certificate of maintenance, import clearance, to student remote pilot licences.

Besides, it proposes the development of drone corridors for cargo deliveries and a drone promotion council to be set up to facilitate a drone-friendly regulatory regime in the country.

Also , like motor vehicle license , drone license should be there because it also can cause dangerous to peoples , animals , buildings and drone can be identified by unique no . A fine should be implemented. Like 10000 for causing destruction to property and also it should be included in Tort and crpc compensation must be provided for those who are victim and insurance must be there .

Drones as Evil and Angel , drones is the innovation of this century . we can see many countries are using it for delivering essential things in rural area where we can’t reached and also it helps police where quarantine is strictly followed or not , so in my opinion drone should be efficient , reliable and have unique tag in which if there is right to privacy is violated take action . And in some prohibited area drone should be restricted, airports , railway stations etc . And anti drone system
