The General Aids to Marine Navigation along the Indian Coast is administrated by Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships (DGLL) as per Lighthouse Act, 1927. Over the period of time maritime sector has undergone massive change. There have been enormous technological developments in the field of Aids to Marine Navigation. To incorporate the global best practices, technological developments and India's International obligations in the field of Aids to Marine Navigation, the Draft Aids to Navigation Bill 2020 is prepared to replace existing Lighthouse Act 1927.

The Draft Aids to Navigation Bill (to replace Lighthouse Act 1927) is hereby circulated for comments of all concerned.

The comments on the Draft Aids to Navigation Bill 2020 may be sent in the MS-Excel Sheet format given below and upload the same, preferably in a PDF file format.

We should make all weather capsules which should be mini versions of submarine design and can be used for many purposes. in ladakh border it should be like ready made igloos buried in ice or like underground bunker with all fuel, bed & armoured for protectionor in the seas it should be able to move underwater with 6 soldiers like in tanks(Underwater tanks). All these should be manufactured at different place & carried to the places for immediate deployment. https://www.pakainfo.com

Dear Modiji, Education system in India need changes, particularly government school. I have an idea. Please pass a bill where each elected MP, MLA and Councellors or panchayat pradhan has to educate their child in government schools of those area from where they were elected. I am sure, you will get surprised results. Just try once.

Proactive Approach: The draft bill is part of the proactive approach adopted by the Ministry of Shipping by repealing archaic colonial laws and replacing it with modern and contemporary needs of the maritime industry. Misinterpretation of the Lighthouse Act: It is often seen that the Act is misinterpreted by the custom department under the Customs Act of 1962 and has led to incorrect collection of a huge sum of light dues thereby putting financial & economic burden upon citizens.

It is finding one’s position and direction on any water body like ocean, sea, river etc. While cruising/sailing closure to the land/ coast one can use various navigational aids like light house, prominent land marks and radio fixing aids ( depending on what equipment is available on board) to find one’s position. At some places water ways(earmarked passage) close to the port helps crafts find their way. in the open sea however the exercise becomes very challenging as no visible reference points

कृषि छेत्र में अच्छी बीज का चयन जरूरी है सीड एक्ट में सुधार करके सभी बीज कंपनियों को सभी राज्यों में बीज बेचने का अनुमति दे देना चाहिए हम जैसे अच्छी बीज ढूंढ कर ला कर बेचने में जो परेशानी हो रही है । कृषि विभाग के अधिकारी के मनमानी से हम मध्यम बर्गीय बीज बिक्रेता को बचाया जा सकता है

Sir, Pls change the following names which are connected to millions of Hindu sentiments. 1. India to BHARAT (The Vedic name of our Akhand Bharat) 2. UP to KOSHALA (Lord Ram was born at Ayodhya which was in Koshala Kingdom) 3. Odisha to Kalinga (The Vedic name of the province was Kalinga) 4. Bihar to Mithila/Magadh (Maa Sita was the Princess of Mithila Kingdom and Magadh was the empire of Chandragupta Mourya) 5. WB to Banga (Banga was the Vedic name of the province)
