Building roads helps bring productivity to the region Regret that the horticulture deptt is not contribution to the state of roads The plants on the divider often cover the most productive area of the road. The outer ring road in Delhi is a live example where the horticulture deptt is sleeping over the issue (1) The leaves are cut leaving behind dead wood which scratches the cars and hurts 2 wheeler drivers (2) The rich body of the bougenvilla plant spreads on the road to divert vehicles Ref picture (3) While eating the leaves the roadside animals may come and sit around the abundance of the plant For last two months I have observed these scenes between GK and Sec 19 at Dwarka on the Dwarka flyover near Palam there is no such issue as divider is fully paver The above scenario will worsen during forthcoming rains when these plants will get ample water also
