my suggestion is about GST rate reduction from 18% to 5% on few essential items for BPL category citizens. Ceiling Fan up to MRP of Rs. 1600/- above MRP 1600/- considered as Luxury ceiling fan can retain in 18% GST category. Immersion Rod, Cost of product is approx 300/- largely used by BPL citizen GST should reduce from 18% to 5%. Electric Iron upto MRP 400/- GST should be 5%. MRP above 400/- Iron can consider as Luxury item can come in 18% GST. This step will also help in to control un organise process.
