8. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose day on Jan 23rd. His sacrifice is very important for our Nations independence movement. We had both saathvik side and bold side of independent movement. One is Ghandiji principle sathyagraha and another is like Netaji principle bold ness. Dur to his courage and support our Army formed and so strong till now. They are saving our country with patriotism. We have to remember and folow Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

For forty years (1911-1951) Tibet remained de facto independent. After the Peoples’ Republic of China (PRC) attacked U.N forces in the Korean War (1950-1953), the U.S.A and Britain were eager to grant recognition to independent Tibet, if India initiated the move. Instead, the then Government of India (GOI) acquiesced to annexation of Tibet by the PRC. Thus, India lost the opportunity of having a sovereign Tibet, with strong cultural and spiritual ties with India, buffering the PRC from the border of India. The then GOI ignored that the rivers Brahmaputra, Sutlej and the group of rivers Arun, Kosi, Ghaghra and Trishuli feeding the flow of River Ganges, lifelines for India, all originate from Tibet. The PRC has now embarked on building a mega-dam in Tibet over River Brahmaputra (called Yarlung Tsangpo in Tibet). The PRC is not divulging details of the project. The time of reckoning with the gravest consequence of the blunder committed in the past has arrived.
