The Pirana sewage and waste have turned our park areas into toxic zones, making the air quality worst and unbearable. As a concerned citizen, I urge you to take immediate action to address this environmental crisis. According to reports, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has been dumping unsegregated solid waste at Pirana since 1982, resulting in three 75-feet high mounds of solid waste occupying 84 acres of land. This has led to serious health risks, including premature deaths, due to high PM 2.5 and O3 levels I understand that Ahmedabad is a developing city, but I firmly believe that we can find sustainable solutions to this problem. In fact, the waste-to-electricity plant at Pirana has shown promising results in reducing landfill garbage and increasing renewable energy supply
