विद्युत एवं इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण (ई.ई.ई) और सामग्री, सतत विकास के लिए सबसे बड़ी बाधा एवं चुनौती बनी हुई है। ई.ई.ई साम्रगी अत्यधिक जटिल अपशिष्ट उत्पादन, ऊर्जा-गहन निर्माण, उपयोग और अपशिष्ट प्रसंस्करण के लिए भारी मात्रा में जिम्मेदार होते है।

इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय, देशवासियों से ई.ई.ई उत्पाद और सामग्रियों को अत्यधिक टिकाऊ बनाने के लिए आपके विचार और सुझाव आमंत्रित करता है। हम आपके सुझावों को महत्व देते हैं जो कि इलेक्ट्रिकल एवं इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उत्पादों में स्थायित्व लाने की दिशा में प्रयासों को प्रोत्साहित करने और जागरूकता बढ़ाने में सहायक साबित होंगे।

मंत्रालय द्वारा देशभर से आई हुई सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रविष्टियों की पहचान की जाएगी और उन्हें माईगव पेज पर प्रदर्शित किया जाएगा।

Students of premiere technical institutes across the country need be tied up with these waste generating industries. As part of internship program, each final year student needs to go through the life cycle of waste generated and try to come up with innovative ideas to deal with the same. Best idea generating student needs to be encouraged . National level award by Central Government will encourage students to come up with ideas. If the student is willing, after graduation he may be given an opportunity to lead the project.

As for organic materials, silk is a great green material due to its biodegradability, biocompatibility, and wide range of potential uses. Resins, gums, saccharides, cellulose, gelatine and peptides, which are all biodegradable, are becoming more popular for use in applications such as sensors, signal transducers, transient, implantable and digestible electronics.

Green materials come in many forms. They can range from degradable circuit boards and organic electronics to metals that are infinitely recyclable and reusable. Organic and inorganic materials can both be considered green, depending on the type of material and how it is implemented.

When it comes to going “green” with electronic products, the goal is to minimize energy use and have less of an impact on the environment than traditional electronics. This could mean less energy used while mining materials and manufacturing the device, or it could mean that lifetime usage of the products made from these materials requires less energy. Less impact on the environment typically entails less toxicity as well, especially after disposal. Recycling is a big key to achieving this. E-waste is a growing problem, its dangers stemming from elements such as lead, cadmium, copper, beryllium, barium, and chromium entering the ecosystem through improperly discarded electronics.

The climate protection target stipulates that manufacturers of electrical products should produce their products as sustainably and climate-neutrally as possible. For example, they should manufacture long-lasting products that contain no harmful substances, the products should be resource-conserving or made from recycled raw materials, be easily recycled again and use as little energy as possible. Another important aspect is the raw materials used in the devices or the materials and ingredients used.

The issue of sustainability is ongoing and omnipresent. Everyone has heard something about it, most likely in connection with the issue of climate protection. Climate protection is one of the most important goals worldwide, and it is one of the biggest global challenges in the 21st century. The European Climate Bill stipulates greenhouse gas neutrality by 2050 as a legally binding objective. That means, for instance, that the production of new electronic devices needs to be carbon-neutral. This in turn poses significant challenges for the economy and companies, but it also offers a great opportunity for manufacturers to offer (more) climate-friendly products and services. विद्युत उपकरण को recycle कर सकते हैं ऐसे उपकरणों को एक जगह एकत्रित करके उनके सही parts को उसे कर के कुछ नए उपकरण बनाए जाएं और रीसेल के लिए मार्केट में लाया जाए। क्योंकि किसी भी उपकरण की 1 या 2 parts खराब हो सकता है सारे नही
