The existing exams do not enable in asking questions about what morals and principles the students have learnt from the theory or philosophy. This is in my opinion the cause for drop outs and all other problems. Free them from all burdens of language barriers except Nehruvian philosophy states (eg. Kerala).

I am working in SRLM-Jharkhand and also resident of same state, i continuously visiting the remote villages of westsinghbhum, pakur and Ranchi. I found enormous potential of economical and social growth. We nee to focus on their basic need and try to expose their local resources, their traditional skill and culture. Village tourism is another potential area to work. I am also working on micro enterprise development in these areas. I open your feed back in development of ME and village tourism.

It is very difficult to set up schools for tribals who live in hill areas. It is impossible to start institutions in hill areas as there may not be student strength to pursue higher education beyond 6th standard. The only option to take the students to Hostels and educate them along with other non tribal students..The tribal welfare Departments should take care of tribal childrens for pursuing higher technical /medical educations etc.. Compared to SC the ST are far behind in development

I have studied the work being done by Native Americans / tribals in the U.S. They have successfully implemented tribal governance into a GIS platform, for education, development, preservation of heritage, tribal history, address evry issues related to tribal development. We need to empower the tribes with governance, as tribal development issues are unique ...them being the owners of the land. I am willing to engage in any capacity, share my professional expertise, whatever.

Why would anyone dropout even after providing all sort of basic necessities like food, books, allowances? when they fail to see the value in what they get out of education, they start giving it a second thought. You need to take extra efforts to show them the value of education, create interest and make them believe that education can certainly do something good to them. It is not just about the conventional education,we need to have a syllabus for them which address their needs in their context

Tribal dropout is because in our education system the education stuff is meant in mind with student of at-least average IQ level. Thus tribal student find it difficulty to pickup subjects in parallel to other average student of his/her class. Therefore these student of low IQ should be teach either separately with subject content more detailed or extra coaching classes should be arrange with food facility and boarding so that there time of cooking food and travelling could be used for coaching.
