Please bring a legislation banning production, stocking, distribution, and sale of plastic bags in all its shapes and sizes. We can easily manage without plastic bags as we did when there were none. I remember in my childhood whenever I used to go to the local grocery shop, the shop owner used to pack pulses and other such loose items using old newspapers and I used to carry cloth bags to bring the items home. Nowadays, because of availability of plastic bags, people just go empty handed.

Ask Companies to build public toilets at bus stands, railway stations, tourist spots and in urban areas where the poor live. The companies should also maintain the toilets they build. In return they can advertise their products & services within the toilets and on the outer walls. Companies will recognise that such advertising will be far more effective than ad spots on TV or in newspapers.

Throwing garbages on the street should be banned and fine should be chared for it and if it can't be banned then atleast spitting should be banned, many people spit paan and supari on street which should be banned and cemented or other fixed dustbins should be made on around each and every kilometer of every city along with public washrooms because while going to school I daily see many people peeing on walls and sometimes poor women too which is really very shameful for our country.

Funds released for cleanliness have to be used efficiently,for example people making toilets are eating funds(read corruption),painting old toilets and showing them as new.I suggest there should be pre & post recording of the place where toilets have to made or any other method to increase transparency and achieve government goal of clean India. Dear PM, I strongly believe that self discipline is the first step for clean India provided there are amenities for self discipline. Let us construct toilets at every road first to ensure self discipline. Let us utilise a small portion of land of government as well as private schools, to construct 2 toilets for public (one for men and other for women) and the entry should be from road side without entering the school. Regular maintenance of these toilets is a must. This provides employment also.

One of the hurdles in due of achieving Swachh Bharat is the use of pan masala and its varients in our country.The roads,walls window sills of buildings and buses are covered with the red stains of these drugs spitted out by people.

Based on your focus on Ganga cleaning and Swachh Bharat-More focus of environment is also required. If any industry is coming, its welcome, since it will create more jobs. But need to be given very strict instruction not to pollute the environment and very strict monitoring by the authorities are required. The people and industry who are cutting the trees should replant at least two times trees to other allocated areas and should properly monitor. focus for Water year, Air year, Earth year etc.

dear Sir, Some ideas to make india clean 1. All shops who are responsible for generating waste should have sufficient dustbins in their premises. 2. All shops or houses should be responsible to clean their nearby area within a certain perimeter. 3. The packaging industry, manufacturing industry, Hotels who sell their products with plastics or any non-biodegradable packets.. should be responsible to collect the same from consumers and properly recycle or dispose them. 4. Fine should be there for littering public places. 5. Its the responsibility of all the municipality or corporation to collect the garbage from dustbins periodically and regularly.
