How I did swatcha bharat in my house ( only on waste management ):(1) wet waste and dry waste are separated. wetwaste is collected in a mud vessel below kitchen sink and transferred to a three pot system from daily dump for composting. Every house & flat can do this. Cooked waste from home and / or hotel/dhaba is used in Anaerobic bio digester cum septic tank at home to generate Methane. People specially shopkeepers should be fined for any dirt around their compound. Road side vendors spread lot of filth . One there is monetary or some other kind of fine , hesitation will prevail in any kind of nuisance creation.

In continuation of the previous one Warangal has proven this. We can make sure in every small town there would be a firm that will consume all that waste fertilisers, you can provide subsidies to open that firms. It will help in many forms as 1. Increase Employment 2. People can be paid for their waste 3. Of course the Swachh Bharat.

Dear PM First of all, I would thank you for providing us such platform to discuss. Now coming to the point on Swachh Bharat I am getting a big hole in that about waste management. What if we clean our society and put the waste in dustbins, our municipal corporation is going to dump that near a river or in just outside our town. So First we need to improve our waste management. Now what we can do, we can recycle the dry wastes and make use as a fertiliser of wet waste.

प्रणाम स्वच्छ भारत अभियान में सबसे वड़ा रोड़ा है कोई तो वह है,पॅालीथीन।मेरे विचार से सरकार को पॅालीथीन की कीमतें दोगुनी कर देनी चाहिए।इससे दो फायदे होंगे १-पॅालीथीन के उपयोग में आंशिक कमी आयेगी।२-जो लोग सड़क पर कचरा व प्लास्टिक की थैलियाँ वीनते हैं।उनकी आमदनी डवल हो जायेगी।क्योंकि जब ज्यादा मजदूरी मिलेगी तो कचरा बीनने वालों की संख्या बढेगी।और इधर उधर वेकार पड़ी। पॅालीथीन की थैलियों में भारी कमी आयेगी।क्योंकि वो अधिक आमदनी का साधन होंगी।और आम लोग भी उनको कचरे से अलग इकट्ठा करेंगे।

continuation of previous post ........ dry wastes can easily be separated and supplied as input to the recycle industry (again generating revenue) . reducing the total waste to 10% or so.if this is done properly the municipal corporations will not have to bear cost of waste management.

continuation............. the gas so produced should be sold to the people at subsidized rate.the liquid left over in the plant should be used as manure(sold to farmers though pipe lines).this will reduce volume of the waste by 50%. moreover this will provide a alternate source for cooking gas. The municipal/government can generate revenue though this system. this project should be collaborated with dry waste management project. dry waste should be collected seprately.

one of the major problem which most of the city is facing is waste management.bio wastes are not seprated from the dry waste. biowaste can be used to create energy. biogas plat should be setup in each city to manage biowaste. household biowaste can be purchased from the houses.this will encourage people to seperate wet waise from dry waste. this wet waste should be decomposted in biogas plant.

Dear Prime Minister, I have an idea to reduce plastic waste. Shopping malls are big producers of plastic waste. Presently the shopping malls sell plastic bags to consumers to carry the purchased items. Malls charge around Rs. 5 for each bag. My suggestion is- Malls should be asked to sell recyclable bags( like made from jute) instead of plastic bags. The price for each bag should be minimum Rs.10. This will force the consumer to carry the same jute bags next time and reduce plastic waste.
