The people will think only if there is profit. Why don’t the government buy the segregated waste from the house holders at a least reasonable & affordable price, so that the people will really think about it and the payable amount can be adjusted to their tax annually, without paying by hand and even the poor people (those who are not having anything) will also put their effort towards collecting garbage disposed in the road side/any vacant places.

dear sir, it is not very difficult to tackle with this problem, the first thing that should be done is to create the awareness among the peoples, one more thing that don't assume that all educated people keep their surrounding clean.Make strict rules so that the peoples who throw wastes where it was not supposed to.Give rights to each and every person to have a proof of peoples who throw the wastes, to make a video etc. and take the person to the police custody for some days. This may help.

nspite there should be a board or hoarding on which they can display their products but not on road. It will look beautiful and can almost reduce 40% of dirtiness. Why a chemist, cloth merchant, Jeweller never showcases their products outside their shops? When they can manage their business within their shop then why others can't? Here your slogan "YES WE CAN" can be a game changer. If we want to make "Swachh Bharat" these small contributions can make a big difference.

Like for Vegetable and Fruit Shops there should be some criteria to meet with hygienic environment to keep their products in good quality for the health of their customers. Government should come with a solid plan to control these thing as it can contribute a lot in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as well as in Smart Cities. Whenever I visits to some place I consider this as a common problem of our shopkeepers.

Neither our Health department nor our Food Civil Supply and safety department issues such advisory to control these practices. Government should plan for shopkeepers to keep different kind of dustbins in their shops and with the help of local Municipality a collection time and point to dispose the waste material for Solid waste management. There should be a fixed fine for shopkeepers if they throw their waste material on Road. Why there can't be a common rule for all?

I want GOI to come up with a solution where our shopkeepers can be restricted or motivated to use the space of their respective shop for the said purpose only. For an example you can see, Many of shopkeepers running Karyana stores also run vegetable shops outside the free land of their shop. Many are running 3-4 shops in a single shop. Doing such can't be considered as good.

As the name elaborates "Swachh Bharat" so to achieve this awareness is most imp but apart from awareness can GOI issue an advisory for Shopkeepers who oftenly uses outside space of their shops by displaying their products on the outside land, Road, Market. However it can be their Right or not but it brings dirtiness around that locality
