home science education is such a course which imparts life skill to students. it is take it for granted that home science is for girls. but it is not like that. this faculty is such that it should be included in life skill courses like nutrition, life style management, health and sanitation, disaster management.

skill oriented courses are need of the day. community college will be the solution of this problem. today children are forgetting their family business and family skill. art and crafts need to be promoted.

I think ehtical education should be included in higher education in all faculties. when we inculcate values in our youth than there will be no sexual harrasement, no domestic violance , no eve teasing, no old age home. the children will automatically know what is write and what is wrong.

Send urban students to agricultural universities so that they learn about agriculture, about being a farmer and where and how their food comes from. They should learn to respect and revere farmers.

Education must groom children towards Physical, Mental and Social health. Yoga, excercises, meditation and community work should be part of the education system. Education must teach human values and enable children to become better individuals, participating family members, responsible citizens, helpful community members and thoughful leaders. They must also be provided vocational training, and life skills like cooking, cleaning, organizing, teamwork, cooperation, building and creativity.

Good education is foundation of all culture, behaviour, values, virtues & progress. Parents form an integral part of education.If a parent crosses signals,throws waste in the open,smokes in public,uses sexist language his/her children will learn the same.So parents should be given inputs of how to behave as well.
