There are various festivals in each State . To make people aware of all festivals, importance of festivals fair can be organized called as STATE CARNIVAL . Because most of the people enjoy fair . To showcase maximum unknown festivals of each state some months can be planned in which no festivals fall in so that people get time to enjoy, service class people can utilize their leaves to witness the fair. If every state/ city gets opportunity to organize mini trade fair, people will get more information. In education system CBSE board has started interstare activities but none take it on serious note so this procedure need serious observation. Similarly intrastate festival fair can be organized or can be initiated at school level so that children get maximum knowledge and importance of unknown festivals. More Advertisements should be shared with ststes/ cities.

There are many festivals we are not able to celebrate just because there is no holiday in offices or work place on those occasions. Also, a lot of persons work in MNCs which work according to their their own holiday calender or job requires round the clock working. Morerover, our education system totally ignores about these festivals or terms them old oudated orthodox beliefs. So, people do not follow these festivals from their childhood. Krishna Janmastami, Shiv ratri, Naag panchmi, Teej, Ekadashi, Amavasya, Kartik Purnima etc are loosing people's interests. Our lifestyle has become so self centric that we are not able to enjoy even festivals like Deepawali or Holi. Instead of enjoying festivals at home or with relatives and friends, people go out of station on long holidays. Thanks to advertisements offering discounts on flight tickets and hotel bookings. So, there shall be advertisements intimating people about upcoming such lessor known festivals to generate interests.

Rural tourism of living heritages, that promotes, home stays, local foods, supports local art, handicrafts and livelihood is one of the best ways to do it. Professional Architects with knowledge of soft interventions and support of Architectural Institutions can prepare schemes to achieve the same.

Promoting local festivals on Maidans or open grounds by the involvement of local communities in the form of a bazaar or mela is the easiest way to create the buzz. The attractiveness of Indian bazaars melas with participatory activities has immense potential for regeneration and promotion of traditional festivals.

The term Bali Yatra literally means 'Voyage to Bali'. Every year Kartika Purnima marks the day that the seafaring traders departed for the Indonesian islands. For this festival, people of Odisha gather in large numbers in colourful attire to celebrate their glorious maritime history. Local traditions ascribe Bali Yatra to the 3rd century BCE, when 2,000 families from Kalinga are believed to have migrated to Bali. This festival is held in Odisha (a state in eastern India), in the city of Cuttack at Gadagadia Ghata of the Mahanadi river, to mark the day when ancient Sadhabas (Odia mariners) would set sail to distant lands of Bali, as well as Java (at the time of the voyage known as "Yawadvipa"), Sumatra, Borneo (all in Indonesia) ...

If all the people of the country realize their responsibility, respect the rules of law, love the nature, and work with a renewed sense of independence for the nation, we can surely win the global competition. If the people in power in the government realize their responsibility and do their work with a sense of dedication avoiding corruption and bribery, no one can stop India's development. Only if the government and the people work together with purpose in the coming times, the economic decline, stagnation in human resource development, environmental problems, education, employment and health in the field of India can be resolved and a prosperous India can be created. Let us all work together for the development of India. Let's think good things....say good things....do good things....good things will happen.

We Indians have been celebrating our festivals with fun, happiness all over the world. But do we really understand the meaning of our well known festival Raksha Bandhan. The answer to the question is No. We dont value the word Raksha Bandhan and blame God. Do we teach our children the real meaning no rape cases were happening in India. We often find excuses to blame Kalyug, but in Kalyug only we have great PM Narendra Modi, Yogi Adityanath ji and many among them. We got our RAM Temple build in Kalyug only. Coming to the point its necessary to give each and every child know the meaning of Raksha Bandhan and how its celebrated.

My thoughts: 1)Set up @Little India” at state capitals & world cities with audio/video shows, museums & craft shops. China towns are famous world over and you can see in major world cities. This should be permanent setup like Dilli Haat. 2) above Little India’s should offer our regional food as well and food is one of best ways to showcase culture & diversity 3)Conduct workshops Pan india/ pan world for few days in a year with competitions and showcases. Invite artists and promote. It is in the lines of Thiruvaiyaru( TN), Chidambaram(TN), Konark dance festivals etc. 4)Cultural exchanges at University/college level across the states & world and promote essays & lectures 5)Government sponsored cultural documentaries in global channels like Netflix, Amazon Prime etc
