People come for various reasons to see a country. But what ever said and done, it will bring money to the country. My idea to increase the arrivals to India. 1. Identifying the different areas which can bring people for eg, educational tourism, medical tourism, religious tourism, adventurous tourism, architectural tourism, business tourism, etc. 2. Identifying organizations/institutions with credibility and capacity who can organize with in India and they should be given wide publicity.

To attract tourists NRIs need to share good things and good places in India with their non Indian Friends. Small team can be managed who can volunteer along with Local Embassy and Tourism Ministry. Digital email shots sent to bulk emails promoting Indian tourism. People back in India try to be more polite with foreigners and try to keep clean India. Atithi Devo Bhava

At the same time we need to ensure Tourist from other part of the world are treated well(In our culture we protect our guest by any means even by giving life for them) They should not feel scared. Our law and order should work to protect them. Any INDIAN try to do harm on them, should be treated as terrorist for INDIAN economy and INDAIN feelings.

The Indian diaspora is well equipped with wide global footprints...the real game changer is how well the Government "ENGAGES and LEVERAGES their expertise ". To begin with, the Government needs to build a cross functional team (CFT) and on board experts from their respective countries on various governance panel ( Higher education, Trade/commerce, infrastructure, health etc). The CFT needs to respect/accept the non IAS views for a bigger cause

I always talk about INDIA when I meet people from around the world. I found it it is really effective way to tell people about INDIA. I also think we should explore other places just except GOA or Kerala or just Delhi. INDIA has lots to offer in terms of culture, relegion and history. We should make a frame work like britsh does. Creation of tourist information centre around INDIA near tourist attraction. It will increase the tourist coming to INDIA in many fold.
