Sir I own a Panasonic rice cooker bought in 2016 and whic is now out of order. Panasonic refuses to repair this product by simply excluding it from list of repairable items. Other companies are also reluctant to repair their out of warranty products by employing various means including uncontactability. May I suggest that in line with Make in India GOI introduce effective Right to Repair legislation. Such a legislation will clean up the service and repair industry, prevent use of fake parts, increase life of electrical/electronic and mechanical products while reducing waste in support of environment conservertism efforts.
