Education system needs to be more focused on training of the mind to think system, rather than learning of facts. As soon as the class teacher says "Exam is coming, we will have chapter 5 and 6 as the course and questions will come from these chapters", immediately our mind is focused on mugging up every little detail of those chapters so that we can get marks. What if the minds of the students were trained, rather than mugging up? New-age startups like Byjus, Embibe, MertiNation etc are booming and are innovating newer methods of learning. But are we making sure that students are training their minds to think, and not simply learn? That's is a big question at the moment. An education is not about learning facts. An education is about understanding, and learning how to learn in everyday situations.
