The first most important task is to make farmers realise the importance of PMFBY. In our country people do not give importance to any type of insurance. For many people, insurance is wastage of money. Yet they have to take car insurance as it is necessary and without which they can be challaned. So, here challan is more important than the cost of lives. Similarly, very few people take house insurance. People do not take health insurance and it is considered absolute waste of money. Similarly, people do not take Fasal Bima Yojana also.

Wihen will India carry out necessary reforms to make agriculture knowledge & work as easy and automatic as breathing. When will it be widespread . Why only farmers since 1947 doing it reluctantly or worse fraudently. Completely exposed FCI procurement only from Punjab & some from haryana. Most of it is rotten or namesake go out to he made into alcohol/drugs all from honest Hindu $$. Baap ka maal , birthright to loot etched in indian constitution . Isn't is shameful that all of the 100+ aspirational districts under 0/100 toppers could not even get their traditional expertise. So much success for reservation policy. Only ayyashi how many dalits in most developed ,cleanest city. India the dirtiest inspite of crores allegedly having expertise. It is food that runs this body was well known in Bharat .annadata ,Annapurna r worshipped where has it vanished in India ? Name 1 program /syllabus/practice /coomunity that teaches /exposes practically to agriculture technology like wonders of science . Only kussan program It is such a necessary & basic function but restricted to only existing farmers. Not 1 non farmer can pursue this. Even the existing farmers selling land as N/A. Whom are we fooling What new initiatives have been done to make this a basic necessary activity happening default like force of habit. Not even gratefulness . Across world even urban skyscrapers have terrace garden new technology vertical garden ,soilless farming to increase greenery & teach all. Assist in food security & climate change. Here every oped and syllabus teaches farming is tough. Not a choice of career and abroad people gladly take up .and inventing ,discovering new ways . Just like SC/st by birth ,even farming by birth .not 1 change

The PMFBY will be launching a doorstep distribution drive to deliver crop insurance policies to the farmers under 'Meri Policy Mere Hath' in all the implementing states," the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare said in a release. The campaign aims to ensure that all farmers are well-aware and equipped with all information on their policies, land records, the process of claim and grievance redressal under PMFBY.

We maybe producing a superior product & maybe realizing lower price domestically. We need to create market by giving free samples through embassies to consumers in their countries with a proper feed back . It's like medical representatives giving free medicine samples to doctors to promote giving all explanations. We are in tropical weather conditions some of the items cannot be grown in cold weather. Our country is more agricultural based to support large population at affordable prices. Prices for agricultural commodities become critical for price index.Taxation on agricultural activities is low as it's a priority sector to feed large population.Farmers also look for reasonable price for the effort.It's a situation where if the yields are higher the price drops.Our Farmers need more mechanization to reduce labour costs & to be more productive. With investments in machinery he needs to recover or pay off the loans in short duration. Higher commodity prices will be not appreciated by public. Govt needs more taxes to provide infrastructure for development.The percentage of tax collected for the population is low. Only way to create additional funds from agricultural activities is exports of atleast GST amount of any industrial activity.
