Sir We have acute problem of supporting infrastructure to run and park all those vehicles,we can do the rationing of the private vehicles by limiting the purchase of a vehicle by a person and strong public transport system will lead to use it and we can save on our import bills and we can reduce pollution level also.

I am with this and in fact I do use my bicycle as much as I can. But sir in a city like Kolkata where this needs to be followed the most, why do I find most of the streets saying Cyclist not allowed. Even when I am willing to travel with safety. I am also denied to go from one part of the city to another as there are ways in middle that prohibit cycles. whereas bikes are allowed everywhere. #PCRA #MPNG #MyGov

Agree with everything the PM suggest. However the public will follow the leaders. We can see a battalion of vehicles behind every elected member of the parliament. First reduce this wastage. Also once these parliamentarians cease to be members all facilities need to be withdrawn.I have been working last 40 years but unable to have a decent accommodation/car etc.How do these guys own so much property and cars in five years of their tenure.Sochne wali baat hai.

Dear PM Sir, If you want our citizens to follow your advice of saving petrol, than first ask all the ministers to avoid multiple cars for their entourage. There should be no difference between katni and karni i.e. what you preach and what you practice. Let the politicians at all levels set example for the general public and then expect the people to support you in your mission.

We can start a completion of #Selfiewithcycle. Randomly everyday some of the selfies can be re-twitted by a senior minister in government and 1 lucky selfie will come on the poster of a government event. This small and no cost moment will bring more visibility to the campaign. #PCRA #MPNG #MyGov

Dear Sir, We can start by doing the same on a Sunday. Instead of going out on a Sunday, families can spend some time with each other at home. People are so occupied in their lives and social circles I feel they have forgotten the feel of spending time with each other and living in the moment. Having a brunch/breakfast together, watching a movie at home with the entire family. Small things, having heart to heart with our parents and grandparents. Concentrating on what's important :)

Technical Suggestion #1 ..... Put long route high speed escalators on HIGHWAYS running on renewable source ( electricity ) so that vehicles can be parked on the same with a stopover at each prime location. It would definitely save gallons of fuel on a daily basis and reduce accidents. This concept is not used anywhere in the world, so this idea may sound crazy & weird, but worth trying and lets be a first country to make this possible. Open for discussion for more details ............

Dear sir, you can also do the survey to get the daily requirement of petrol/diesel. Ask the people a question what is their daily/monthly requirement of fuel. Fuel type petrol/diesel. Vehicle owned (car/bike). Mostly used for (going office/personal). Daily Average running. Daily Route. Based on the answer of these questions we can analyse that why and for what purpose people are using fuel. Then we can plan to provide them public transport facility and can appeal them to avoid personal vehicle.
