जनजातीय लोगों के लिये आजीविका के अवसरों की कमी अन्य सामाजिक गुटों की तुलना में उनके पिछड़ेपन का एक मुख्य कारण है। कई औद्योगिक परियोजनाओं के कारण बड़ी संख्या में इनका विस्थापन होता है जिससे भी जनजातीय लोगों की आजीविका पर बुरा प्रभाव पड़ता है। यह मंत्रालय जनजातीय लोगों के लिये विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में स्थायी आजीविका सुनिश्चित कराने के लिये कई कदम उठा रहा है। जनजातीय नौजवानों के लिये व्यावसायिक शिक्षा तथा औपचारिक तकनीकी शिक्षा पर भी ज़ोर दिया जा रहा है। राज्यों को जनजातीय नौजवानों के लिये उनके कौशल के विकास हेतु कदम उठाने को कहा गया है, जिनमें कम से कम आधे कौशल महिलाओं को रोजगार दिलाने वाले हों।

जनजातीय मंत्रालय, मेरी सरकार के माध्यम से इन मुद्दों पर समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों के सुझाव तथा सूचनाऐं आमंत्रित कर रहे हैं - जनजातीय लोगों के लिये आजीविका के विभिन्न अवसर, विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में कुशल किंतु बेरोजगार जनजातीय नौजवानों की उपलब्धता, जनजातीय लोगों के पारंपरिक कौशल, जनजातीय नौजवानों मे नयी रुचियाँ तथा नये रुझान, तथा सम्बद्ध कौशल–विकास की ज़रूरतें और सम्भावनाऐं।

Education of these communities should have an equal balance between their culture and the new culture come to them through education.Any new ideas for them including those of economic and health aspects should also have this balance.New projects for their economic uplift should have their active participation.Health amenities should also contribute for their existing knowledge in that area.Prior to providing the assistance 'mental uprising' among them to be developed for full utilizatio of it

The tribals need to be associated to the mainstream of India by providing them proper education & other basic facilities.Though they are in ST quata but this advantages are taken by very few people who are already came out from backwardness & other remains in the darkness of illiteracy,ignorance & proverty.These sometimes misguided them towards extremism.We need to move out them from isolation towards oneness i.e. towards being Indian.

We should try to train and build up a team of their own people to do the work of administration and development. Education can lead them to their future growth. way of living will change. show them the world which is outside their community at the same time give them assurance that their learnings will not go waste

The tribal people getting proper education and joining the mainstream is of utmost importance. At the same time, preserving the heritage arts arts and crafts are also of great importance. In view of safeguarding this knowledge, we can think of training others who are interested in these skills. Thus, they will be able to earn by teaching their skills to others. We will not end up losing the heritage arts, the tribal people may opt for white-collar jobs after receiving modern education.

Provide know how, seeds for growing vegetables and flowers. Frozen vegetables is big business for companies like Vadilal that sell them overseas. Not all types of vegetables freeze properly. Generate cultivars that freeze and still taste great when thawed. Vadilal always runs out of okra. When tribal people partner with such businesses there is opportunity for revenue, technology, jobs and entrepreneurial growth. Beware of what Shiv Kumar Sahu has said below. Find the right people to lead this.

Sir to creat job at ground level in red crridore of green forest , it is necesary to to convert red caridor to green caridor. One ex central minister rided motor cycle in jungle of jharkhand .its became a breaking news .he develop road in jungle. Open crp camp in junglearound a certain location . When some one gone in to deep of this matter found a iron ore mine headed by minister son in law. While developing this area he onestly work which created job for forest person. But why these things

Sir sc/st act 1956 need some amadment.one person become sgazetted under st/ sc quota .why not his wife/son/ doughter will barred from st/sc qouta.If a gazeted officer could not develop his family socialy should not entitle to hold any public post. But one question arise from this about sc/st mp & mla. Their enjoying of quota will also be limutise for 10 to 15 year means 2 or 3 terms. If quota will come under certain limitation for a person its creat more job/ quality jobs.contd 2
