It is clear from the observations of the bench and also from our own observations as a common citizen that the standard of social human values was much better than what it is today. The issue was not so serious before the onset of globalization in nineties. people in the street were not as selfish as they are today.

There is great competition to take admission in IIT,NIT,IIM etc. These are government institutions. But no one has interest to take admission in government schools.Maximum parents [the rich] send their wards in private schools. So,these government schools are running in bad condition. It should be mandatory that all wards of government servants,M.L.A.'s,M.P's etc should be admissioned in government schools. It will be beneficial for the wards of the poor who study in these schools.

Increase in literacy level has not resulted in increase in better human values. Thus it calls for transformation in education system. They further said that “with great respect it will have to be stated that bereft of improvement in the educational field, when we pose to ourselves the question as to what extent it has created any impact, it will have to be stated that we are yet to reach the preliminary level of achievement of standardized literate behavior.”the honourable bench said

The Supreme Court bench comprising Justices B.S.Chauhan and F.M.Ibrahim Kalifulla has given their humble opinion that the Education system in the country has failed to achieve its objective and it has to be reformed immediately. “It is unfortunate that today education instead of reforming the human behavior, in our humble opinion, appear to have failed to achieve its objective.

First of all government should consult teachers and professors for the steps to be taken to improve our education system. Many times it has been observed that peoples from different fields like acting, law who are totally unaware of teaching profession play the most important role in improving the education system.IT IS BIG IRONY.

This trend has to be reversed to generate human values. People growing through foul means must be punished and those who restrict them from the path of bribery in spite of having powers to resort to corruption must be rewarded. Education can not bring a sea change. It can only supplement the change. So ,anti corruption drive, reward for honesty and a suitable but burden less education policy both financial burden and curricular applicable to entire country in one go is the need of the day.

The rich and clever exploited without hesitation and the poor resigned to inactivity and hopelessness, and thus the anti-socials have their field day every where. In the past, people use to get respect through dedication and sacrifices for society, but now any one who has wealth to throw a party in clubs or in temples or who can donate a good portion to a BABA or religious Trusts from the wealth he looted from the mother India or who can offer wine in circuit houses are respected as benevolent.

For the poor, growth means 25 kilograms of food grains as per National Food Security Ordinance. There children are sent to a government school where the poor class people only go. The rich and privileged class corner all facilities meant for poor. Poor people now feel that what ever good is now provided by the society is meant for the rich or those who can manipulate may be through bribe. They never dream about their child becoming a doctor or engineer or a scientist.
