The admission Procedure, both pre & post should be simplified & streamlined. As Abhinav pointed out everything should be in blue print. I agree, & follow this practise at my workplace. We jot down all such pointers in our Brochures/collaterals. Also each & everything is published on our website to maintain transparency. Student should not be taxed by making him run from one place to another for administrative issues. Hence, less of files, less of paper & more of technology should be the mission.

In universities administrative staff annoy students by asking a no. of documents and sometimes unnecessary documents. So we can create a rule book for each university. In that rule book university has to mention the needed documents/papers for different works. Rule book will be available on internet. This way we can help those brilliant and hard working students who are suffering the torture given by the univ admin staff. They can focus much on their studies.

Our school children suffer from the problem of Heavy Bags which can be solved very easily. Let each book be divided into multiple physical parts. In a day, a student does not read more than a few pages, so why carry whole book. e.g. a Mathematics book can be split into Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry etc, or it could just collection of chapters. Each part should not contain more than say 60 pages. Similarly, by law each school notebook should not have more than say 40 pages. A very simple solution

The schemes being run by govt. to help Students financially has not received satisfactory result. The problem is in the method of its regulation. Several schemes are unknown for majority of Students. I think, every student should be asked about their passion, financial condition of the family, support needed, aspiration for HE, choice of eligible Support etc. during filling form at High school level. Financial assistance should be provided accordingly and to every student in need.

Student should be listened in institute decisions.

On ideas for the future: which need to be considered along with other technology enabled learning initiatives; once the aspiring students have been provided with access to technology devices and internet connectivity, an affordable and easily available subscription and access to E-Library service can add immense value to students seeking to know the existing knowledge in any given domain of learning, so that they can easily traverse the path already traveled and perceive further.
