http://ndmindia.nic.in/NPDM-101209.pdf

disaster preparedness should implementation through bottom up approach. strengthen empower from local people participation with skill and training especially poor people and woman and children to learn awareness and mitigation technique. the huge gap between policy making and academic. if we want to mitigate disaster then we develop more alert such as early warning system, flood and drought control alert through SMS and redio.

Sir, Sandal wood trees holds a special place in our life next only to Tulsi plant. I still fail to understand why restrictions are in place in rearing Sandal trees and why no effort is made to revisit this law Countries like Australia have taken to development of sandal wood forms and shortly we may loose our position. Free saplings can be given to girl children to nurture and share the benefits with them. Such social security scheme for girl children be named as CHANDAN KANYA scheme.

It is surprising that whenever Pakistan talks about kashmir human right violation we dont tell that what about their Prime Minister rights violation (Bhutto was hanged, Nawaz was kicked out from his PM seat, what about the Pakistan MP rights violation, what about PAK being a theocratic state which means its constitution is itself biased, what about the rights of Constitution of Pakistan which has been repeatedly raped lastly by Gen Musharraf, what about human rights of Malala (women right voil

Becoming alert on the 'need to continue' irrespective of the circumstances is the first step... this is not a national responsibility alone - individuals, housing complexes, communities, associations... followed by Corporations, NGOs, and then Government. It is everyone's responsibility.

In my experience working on disaster management in local and global contexts, India has unique human, material and technology powers, and awaits leadership and management initiatives to become a world leader in Disaster Management. It is about protecting lives of people at risk of disasters. I am happy to do my part in all possible ways.

IT IS A PLACE WERE INDIA CAN CONTRIBUTE A LOT TO THE WORLD AS WE HAVE GOT HUGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHICH IS VERY NECESSARY IN TACKLING ANY FORM OF DISASTER. A govt. can,t do much in this area as it is an entire different field as it requires a total different look, technical expertise. I see we have a very good opportunity to earn from this also. Our country can earn through this service.
