The Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to thetop 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Raipur is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, RMC urges the citizens of Raipur to share their opinions and ideas to make your city “Raipur- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to your city!!

"Need Review a. Exponential growth in population. b. Exponential growth in demand for medical, legal as well as construction services due to increase health issues, conflicts and increase in construction work. c. Exponential growth in private transport and density of motor vehicles causing issues of parking etc. d. Public Transport unable to keep pace with growth of Population, demand of clean and dignified means of conveyance."

if u consider providing employment to wards of the employees, then can be restricted to either 30 or 33 years of service thereby solving unemployment also and yield very good out put from the younger generation. 1:4 ratio employment can easily be provided by the govt. and there will not be any discontentment in the minds of govt employees. Lot of savings to the govt i.e. public money.

Proper utilization of land left . Instead of just making third class flats under CGHB or Flats for slum dwellers Scheme , please keep this land for future planning either for institutes of national importance or convert them into Gardens/parks/green areas. For housing needs cg should buy land in outer side. There should be zero tolerance for encroachements withouut any vote bank politics.

"there should be a service providing center for senior citizens, so that licensed and qualified aids may be provided on demand and as per need each office should have an independent or affiliated creche facility near or within premises"

स्मार्ट बनाने के लिए सड़को के किनारे ठेले हटाये जाये अतिक्रमण हटाया जाये सड़को के बनाने के बाद उसकी खोदाई पर रोक लगाई जाए.

Pl provide basic facilities to one an all, e.g. club houses, swimming pools, sports centres, modernised infrastructure. When resources are there, people are ready to pay for these facilities. Why the admn. can't channelise it. The old functionaries r making the things worst. Employ new tech. people who will themselves generate revenue. I think Raipur is an ideal place to show innovations.

बड़े भार वाहनों पर शहर में आने पर प्रतिबन्ध लगाया जाय। पशुओं पर शहर में रोक लगे। divider के जगह जगह कट बंद हों।
