The Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to thetop 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Raipur is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, RMC urges the citizens of Raipur to share their opinions and ideas to make your city “Raipur- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to your city!!

Please pay attention towards municipality rodes in Raipur...their condition is worst...even they have multiple unnecessary small speed brekers which causes health problems..also Raipur is lacking cleanliness.. their is dirt all around roads..stray dogs are problem on roads...plz solve this problems

We should encourage people to give more priority to spacious residence than to distance from main town. Also we should include nearby villages into city limits so that they don't get developed haphazardly and this should also bring down land prices and people can afford larger plots.

Cities should be pedestrian friendly. Present condition are pathetic. Squares are very dangerous not only for walking but for driving too. But we cant avoid it these area for everyday commuting. More cycling should be promoted. Some incentives should be given to govt officials who comes by cycle. Various campaign should be arranged for cycling. Such things should be implimented in schools, colleges, offices. In cities like Mumbai many corporates are starting going offices by cycling then why cant we??
