The Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to thetop 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Raipur is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, RMC urges the citizens of Raipur to share their opinions and ideas to make your city “Raipur- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to your city!!

"Efforts to improve civilian security and law and order - should be promoted righteousness. Instead of law, fear of God should be shown. Simplicity, restraint, morality should be encouraged. No penalty should be imposed on ordinary citizens. Go the other way and let him understand opportunities. Heinous criminals should be given the severest punishment. For them - eye for an eye as punishment policy are observed. "

Concentrate on following points- 1)In rainy season road may damage by which accident happens.2)People should cooperate with municipal corporation in cleaning project.

basic facilities to be provided are. 1. underground drainage.2 waste disposal vehicle to reach home and disposal/treatment plant outside the city. 3.overhead water harvesting and silicon solar plants for electricity generation at least 1kw. 4.use of led bulbs and cable electricity supply.5 adequate gardens and tree plantation( road side/in city area) 6.water supply 1hr only with adequate pressure but daily.(no need of 24hr as ppl misuse natural resources if provided in excess)
