The Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to thetop 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Raipur is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, RMC urges the citizens of Raipur to share their opinions and ideas to make your city “Raipur- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to your city!!

Government should develop automated system for controlling the speed of vehicles .If any vehicle is running beyond that speed he/she should be tracked and should pay penalty. Because lots of accident happened last year due to fast speed on busy traffic.

सभी जगहों पर Cctv कैमरा और सुरक्षा कि व्यवस्था मजबूत की जाये. रात में कोई भी असामाजिक लोग किसी व्यक्ति की वास्तु को नुक्सान न पंहुचा सकें और गन्दगी न फैला सके. साथ ही अपराधिक गतिविधियों पर रोक लग सके

शहर निर्माण की संरचना का भविष्य में ध्यान रखकर विकास करना उचित होगा।

As its inefficiency has led to so many problems for eg: encroachments on roads; lack of efficient public transport; its difficult to find roads in the walled city area
