The expansion of banking and reach of financial services is considered to be vital for the long-term sustainable development of any country. From the standpoint of equity, it is essential that financial services are provided at an affordable cost to those who are presently excluded from the formal financial system. Mobile telephony could be the answer to the problems related to ‘last mile’ service delivery of financial services.

In order to identify and address the various issues for the use of USSD-based Mobile Financial Services, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released Consultation Paper on ‘Review of regulatory framework for the use of USSD for mobile financial services’ on 2nd August, 2016 for comments.

The objective of this Consultation Paper (CP) is to examine the need of mobile based financial services in the country from a public perspective, discuss the issues in its proliferation and to explore solutions for the same.

The Authority has extended the time for submission of comments upto 14th September, 2016 and counter comments by 28th September, 2016.

Sir, you must scan entire financial system for these Trojan horses/malware as well as loopholes and implement stringent security systems at hardware levels as well.

cont..having data,map and methodologically they must have knowledge how system works. A system is as secure as its weakest link. Cell phones are easy to hack so USSD needs multiple layer security for user safety is a must.

cont.. but when I put pen drive in PC security system detected 10 malware and viruses and automatically cleaned it up. Sir bank employees use unguarded PCs to use internet and core banking and its same way in majority of private and government banks. So its plausible that malware/virus entered banks system via regular browser and entered core banking and was sitting and mapping like a trojan horse. Its pretty much possible that these hackers have dada of entire system.

sir, it would be better if there are more safeguards in place as cell phone hacking is like eating a pizza for hackers. Recent hacking of Union bank of India in its nostro account was in hindsight going to happen as entire financial system is infected. I had to once go to UBI for some office works for higher ups some 3 years ago. I had to collect some forms since their printer was not working they gave me soft copy in pen drive. My pen drive was clean as I used high sensitive security system..

Sir, i think some basic services like paying bills, bank transfers, checking the certefiactes etc which are necessarily important for everyone should be brought under single app and the persons using data through that app should be given internet access free. In this way many people in rural areas who only use internet if its absolutely necessary will benefit and will use them. All carriers should make exception to that app. For example we saw facebook zero using such a way.

भारत के संविधान में सभी जगह भारत देश की जगह भारत राज्य का उल्लेख किया गया है जोकि ब्रिटिश शासन काल से भारत को बोला जा रहा है ।इस समय हमारा देश एक पूर्ण लोकतान्त्रिक देश है जोकि अपने संविधान और सरकार के अधीन कार्य करता है। ब्रिटिश सरकार भारत को अपना एक राज्य समझते थे क्योंकि उनका देश ब्रिटेन(इंग्लैंड) था तो क्यों आज हम वही चीज को पढ़ते आ रहे है। अब हमारे देश में 29 राज्य है जोकि भारत देश के अभिन्न हिस्सा बन चुके है तो हमारे संविधन से भारत राज्य को बदलकर भारत देश करने का कोई प्रावधान करे। जय हिंद

Dear PM sir, To stop terrorism in assam mostly BODO people living area there need to be set up more and more educational institutions so that people are educated and get awareness of their misdeeds. Some people were born as terrorists by some wicked section of people as they weren't aware of their future due to illiterate.
