By treating animals well, we can fight poverty, reduce hunger, improve people's health, tackle climate change and protect the biodiversity of our planet. So we're working to make sure the vital importance of animal protection is recognised at a global level – and you can add your voice to move the UN to act.

The plants, animals, incects, we humans, whatever in this nature that has life, are the souls.
By spritual view, we humans are a soul and not this body that is a material thing. We have got this Human birth or other living beings have got their respective birth against their will or we can say that not we have chosen that we have to take birth in which body.
Thus, as being a soul, it's our supreme duty to respect each other, treat each other very well, but not in point for self benifit.
For animals and other living beings, they have right to live in nature before we humans. Why?
They are pure friends of nature, they won't harm it, won't misuse it, they live according to nature and doing this all, they still living well until we humans interfere with them.
What we so? We harm nature, harm it's systems and cycles, unfolling its rules.
We should learn from them. As nature is also our teacher.
We together make nature. So we should live together with peace.

Animal welfare is important because there are so many animals around the world suffering from being used for entertainment, food, medicine, fashion, scientific advancement, and as exotic pets.

Significance of Animals in the Ecosystem
Here’s how animals play an important role in the ecosystem:
1. Creating a Water Source
Elephants are considered to be among the most intelligent species on earth. They serve an important role in the maintenance of the ecosystem. During the dry season, the elephants play a great role in creating water sources.
The elephants are capable of digging water from underground with the help of their large tusks. This source of water is important for many other animals present in the ecosystem.

Our mother Earth is a habitat for animals, birds, insects along with us humans. Animals teach us to be more human. There is nothing more honest and sincere love than the love of a dog. Animals have same emotion as humans. Besides, humans cannot survive without animals. In fact, we must learn to be more respectful towards them. Help and feed them, take care of our community animals like cats, dogs, birds. A simple act of placing water and food on your terrace/balcony for birds and some food in a bowl outside your home for the land animals goes a long way.
Jaise jal bina jeevan nahi, aise hi pashu bina manushya nahi!

Each and every single particle in this universe has their own specific role to play whether it’s a plant or an animal, they will be inter-connected to each other’s in this ecosystem for sustainability.
Everyone, may have observed in their village carnivals, where the animals will also be adored along with the god and why comes the question here?
Since because, every god(‘s) will have its own vehicle (Vahana) either animal/flower which was believed to be a symbol of divine nature. These vahana's were always been an identity of strength, glamor, power, splendour, beauty, majesty and fierceness, representing the essence of god. So, they are believed to be a part of god and are worshipped for balance of nature.
Through by conscious conservation, we all can achieve and/or enrich biodiversity and conserve our mother earth and its components for our future generations to perceive.
