Govt should not only ban sale, manufacturing and marketing of such harmful drugs but also permanently lock and seal the premises and attach all in moveable and moveable properties of the owners and their family members. Then severe punishment like long term jail and heavy financial penalties should be imposed. Indians by nature are "dande ke yaar" and afraid to go to jails. Only psychological clinics should be authorised to purchase and that too should be strictly regulated

Sir i feel that there r two approaches need to b used simontaneously to mitigate this problem 1.there should be a complete detailed chapter on drugs and its effects in curriculam of all schools and colleges and some drama should be organised by schools and colleges to show how it destroy everything. Education should be given from the age of 3. Parents should tell their kids how bad is drugs or cigretts. 2. More strict penal provisions should b inflicted on chemist selling drugs without prescrip

1. Effective intelligence department with firm resolve to identify the source, the suppliers and stake holders of drug trafficking.
2. Curing at the end-user level may not produce the desired result unless supply chain is cut.
3. Legal reform to impose stringent punitive actions against those found guilty in its trade and supply.
4. Political Will

Youngsters should be given opportunities to make themselves busy in doing some productive tasks, like, study, part time/full time jobs, sports etc. And strict actions should be taken against suppliers of drugs, specially those who supply to minors(under 18s).

Rapid Diagnostic Test Kits, which are instantaneous Test Kits (like the Pregnancy Test Kit) are available for easy, convenient detection. They are known as single panel or multi panel kits where the consumption of multiple drugs can be determined within 3 to 5 minutes. They are available as either urine or saliva based. I feel apart from policing a single minded focus on Sports should be made at the nascent / primary level itself - prevention is the better part of valour
