1. Decriminalise drug use for first offence but penalise compoundingy for subsequent offences; 2. Increase penalties for drug trade at all levels; 3. Improve de-addiction centre coverage with increased therapeutics and counseling; 4. Make it mandatory for addicts to attend de-addiction centres (or else jail); 5. Increase IEC activities through electronic and social media; 6. Increase vigilence in schools and colleges + random drug searches in hostels regularly (difficult times difficult steps).

find out the suppliers of drugs and take strict and Immediate action against them and also do live telecast of their punishment on the news channels. roam them around the capital without clothes and then fire them most of the drugs suppliers are from northern states of india so all the check post officers should be honest and loyal for their country, donot give posting to the corrupted officers and also officers must be suspended if any crime found near their check post, provide few examples.

Hon PM, the drug menace is not an easy one to solve. The failure of the "war on drugs" in the US is a clear indicator.
https://www.drugpolicy.org/drug-war-statistics
Drugs in India, especially Punjab is being routed from Afghanistan (which is at a peak poppy production today).

I think India needs to tackle this differently, starting by teaching kids in elementary school.

My dear PM,
You are looked up on as perhaps we Indians' only chance out of all ' the bad' here.
So, please comply with our expectations; and you do to a great extent.
About the drug menace: - it does not arise all on a sudden.
I will say; even the government has a great role in making a person seek the drug.
Frustrations drive a man to seek drug. Until recently, India was bathing in corruption. This, in the long run, makes the youth hopeless and.....

for drug menace first create a team in all the central as well as state universities, work of that team will be,1-get engage in purchasing the drugs and get to know the last resources from where drug is supplied, then catch all the vendors of the drugs.when we stop the supply of drug then only we can get relief from it and the important centers are universities.

BSF and police officers have storng bond to make available in borders areas. Strong Sikh people can not make resistant by their religion and political will shown by leaders. We have make people awareness of Bhart Darshan between Amritsar and Varanasi. NRI people lust of money what their children have no mindset toward country. We have to make awareness all the by all platforms and intuitions. Thanks quoting such a systems failure which spoil our country like black money
