1) actively involve Addicted persons in sports 2) always be with the person and spend quality time. 3) rehabilitation centers need to be live and not simply Prayer and Yoga centers. 4) make them feel loved not dejected from the society. 5) Arts and Team sports can give new leash of life to the Addicted. 6) Most Importantly give them TIME. theirs and yours(who ever supporting the addicted person)

Respected Sir, The plight of women and children in those families where the women is working as maid to meet the family & children's education expenses and the husband spends her hard earned money on liquor is beyond words. The women and the children are subjected to harsh physical and mental torture and the entire family is ruined. There is a very large number of families who are struggling with this situation each day. I request you to spare some thoughts and words on this topic. Thank You.

The root cause of the drug abuse should be targeted. Why young person it taking drug? Is it because the young persons parents are rich? Actually people who seek love and support and can't get it they turn to drug. Not been able to listen to them and not considering their value in the home or society is also one cause. Showing the bad side of the drugs to the young people is also important. Apart from other means this should also be taken in to consideration.

1. Prevention is always better than cure. Youth should be encouraged to meditate. Yoga heals the body, physically as well as mentally. 2. Youth should be encoraged to speak up. Share their thoughts and try to comunicate their feelings. 3. Youth should always be engaged in one productive activity. This keeps the bad thoughts at bay.

Most colleges and schools have people who are into drugs. Here is where the peddlers catch them young. Often, some students turn into peddlers. This happens in almost all places be it medical / engineering college or small boarding schools. Truth is bitter but undeniable. This is where we need to increase vigilence. We need to conduct random drug searches by NCB using sniffer dogs. We need to send out a very stern message of zero tolerance. Other points in my other post.

Drugs are like virus which is destroying the youth and in turn destroying the society. The best way to eradicate this drug menace is by awareness by :- 1. Making one particular subject like social study in children course. Teaching them about how this drugs kills u slowly and how it is bad for you. This subject can also help in different social way also. 2. Social campaign, street campaign are also few ways of awareness program.

first step to Drug addiction is the youth being exposed to hard liquor. When it becomes unaffordable they resort to cheaper drugs as they are already addicted. Immediately we must bar Bars from the city and allow only in 5 star Hotels and specified Malls only. This step would immediately curb drug menace which we are all facing today. Let us follow the Kerala and Gujrat model.
