Dear Modiji, you have adopted right path by talking to youth through Mann Ki Baat and interacting with students. I am sure the next generation will benefit but for this we must aim that all children get education. For this I suggest motivate retired population thru proper, training, infrastructure and support to participate in the crusade to fight the menace. I believe majority of retirees want to contribute constructively to nation building for next generation. Tap the rising old population.

Respected Modi Ji I suggest that vehicle used in trafficking drugs should not be released and attached with the government for ever and the properties of smugglers should also be confiscated and money earned through this should be used to open more Govt Hospitals. Thanks for having views from the public.

Every young man looks for a way to get relief from various tough situations he encounters and cigarette smoking was one easy and the least harmful method. After cigarette smoking was banned a few years ago the youth of India are going in for drugs. Please remove the ban on smoking and allow the least harmful vice to prevent drug menace.

Watching films at the weekends is very common in todays youth which is a very effective mass communication media. But what is being communicated in todays films is adult scenes, double meant dialogues, item songs, party songs, scenes/songs related to alcoholic drinks etc which are very common to attract youth. Youth at their age have much passion to do something but it is diverted some where else through such movies. This is the 'maya' which diverts immateure youth towards alcohol-drugs-cigarate

Even in the Capital Delhi, one can find liquor, cigarette & other tobacco products being sold within the 100-200 m range of schools, educational institutes, hospitals and religious places. This menace can be uprooted only if stringent grass root inspection and prosecution takes place. Its very heart wrenching to see a kid with a cigarette stick and letting go the 5 minutes of lifespan in air.
Hope my observation will be addressed specifically by Mr. PM

Drug addiction is a confirmed visa to a collapsed and agony-filled life! Especially for youths, it's a matter of an assured perished future! It's said that the prevention is better than cure! Trying to avoid the addiction is the only way to solve the menace! For that from the person in question to his family and the society need to ensure that the atmosphere that may conducive for such addiction is avoided. It's a social problem and the solution lies with the society.
