During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Radio programme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared that a large number of people have been talking to him about the increase in usage of drugs. The Prime Minister described this as a very serious issue and assured that he will talk about the menace during the next ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme.

The Open Forums invites you to talk about the menace of drugs. Share how you feel this menace can be mitigated, what steps can be taken to get youngsters out of this. You can share anecdotes – how you saved children from this menace of drugs or if you have had a personal experience. NGOs working in this sphere should contribute. Your contribution would be a major step in freeing India from the menace of drugs.

Drug menace needs 4 pronged approach namely 1) educating the public against this menace, 2) offering the addicts the help they need,3) tough measures for drug dealers and pedlars and 4) introducing this topic in schools so as to make students aware of all the dangers inherent in the use of drugs.

Dear All, 1. first stop and ban using (preparing by palm) Tobacco in Public. Increase the tobacco price multi fold as poor people cannot afford to buy. 2. Stop the religious ceremonies where naturally breed leafs are used as mild drug. 3. Using Tobacco is a preliminary practice for using drug. when the brain gets familier with tobacco's giddiness, then it will ask for higher one..that is where drugs are making people to become addict. 4. Implement severe Penalties and punishments for people using & selling drugs.. Thank you.

one of the simplest and best way is to show them how worst their future will be and how the society will treat His/Her family because when he/she is addicted feels that only themselves are affected but the fact it effects the entire family in some way or the other and should give some examples of families suffering due to their family member addicted from drugs parallel camps should be organised like meditation,yoga and every District hospital should be equipped with an rehabilitation center.

Respected Sir, Following are steps to stop drug menace 1. Setting up more rehabs and natropathy centers that help for de-addiction 2. Banning ciggerates and promoting e-ciggerates. 3. Developing chocolates with taste or flavour of drugs 4. Herbal ciggerates 5. Tax benefits who build rehabs, de-addiction centers. 7. Now a days laser technique is used to help quit smoking. Such centers can be promoted. 8. Banning Pan, gutka 9. Ayurveda products can help quit smoking, drugs. Use ayurveda

First the Drugs should be identified.Then the retail points. The Drug pedlers. The joints,where the youth meet,buy drugs and use,should be wiped out. By a special team of volunteers. not govt. officials. The volunteers should be paid well and protected,by another set of volunteers,properly chosen by a clean NGO.

younger generation mostely spending their time in cinema, TV, internet & spending time with friends without knowing how to spend the time properly and in useful way. Therefore get the younger generation into games, nation build and for useful things to get themselves involved. younger generation is not going to temples and there are not even doing their domestic works. preah them from the elementry level the moral standards, what is good and waht is bad. eduction should be not for earning money but to learn good thing. change eduction system in total so as to inculcate morale, patriatism, values in life etc.,

We must initiate to authorize and distribute power of control some extend to the residence associations, to create effective task force in their area. I believe residence associations can work better than current panchayath

युवाओं में सेक्स के प्रति बढती प्रवति ही नशे का मूल कारण है .सेक्स का सही विकल्प युवान के लिए ''नशा''...है .युवाओं में बढती सेक्सी वासना को रोकना होगा .इसको रोकने का एक ही उपाय है ..इन्हे स्त्री का सही परिचय दिया जाये .

Trade in drugs have national and international implication including terrorism and naxlite movement. Apex agency entrusted with collection of intelligence of persons engaged in manufacture, trading, transporting and distributing drugs is necessary instead of numerous existing machinery with limited utility and success. Personnel of existing agencies shall be brought under the Apex body though search, seizure and prosecution operation by the apex body at State level. Our failure is too many cooks

Only way to stop this drug menace is to give SANSKAR while the child is in mother's womb. Jaisa mother sunegi vaisa hi sanskarvan bachha paida hoga. It is a proven fact and scientifically proved. There are certain kriyas that to be done for a pregnant mother before the child is born. After the child birth another certain kriyas to be followed to make and develop newly born to our taste like intellectual, fighter, musician, singer, artist or a great mathematician. AAO GHAR LOUTEN promotes this.
