During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Radio programme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared that a large number of people have been talking to him about the increase in usage of drugs. The Prime Minister described this as a very serious issue and assured that he will talk about the menace during the next ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme.

Lack of love and sympathy from the loving and caring family members is the real main cause for this problem. In our Hindu culture Moral is the base of every act and there is nobody to guide the right path because both the parents has to go for daily earning of the family, children will grow up without proper guidance. If life will able to sail smoothly with the earning of any one of the parent things may change to a very better ways.

Drugs can be life saver or life taker. Abuse of anything is dangerous. Problem has two face: who sale and why sale. Other face: who takes and why takes. If we analyse these faces it reveals the reality of human bahaviour n psychology to cheat n loot d people. Greed has no limit. After 70 years of Independence, country are still in d grip of all old tactics to cheat d common people. There is no taker for talented youth. Talents are exploited by cheat by false promise. Drugs help them forgive.

This is a topic where a large segment of the society is getting pushed in . There may be n number of solutions to eradicate the social problem of drug but to eradicate this problem at root level one needs a big support of the society itself. The children from very young should be given the moral lessons and we need to work hard on the sanskar of India. In India the main reason for society getting involved in drugs is because the young generation is lacking morals and ethics..Lets work on this

First thing to understand here is this problem didn't happen overnight. It took years and decades to reach this stage. The main reason for this situation is rise of unemployment for the youth. Both suppliers and users are being under the influence of drug mafias, directly or indirectly.Open up many doors for the youth invest their energy and time for the growth of the country. This will gradually eliminate all the illegal activities. Best Wishes.

Drug manufacturers should be offered alternate job since it is root cause. Purchase & sale of drugs should be made a criminal offence. A chapter on this subject should be included in text books in compulsory subject. Award scheme should be launched for persons who leave this habit & literate ones may be offered jobs depending on their educational skills. A random checking should be conducted to nab addicted persons in trains, buses, flights, on roads or on duties etc. TV/cine men shud advertise.
