During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Radio programme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared that a large number of people have been talking to him about the increase in usage of drugs. The Prime Minister described this as a very serious issue and assured that he will talk about the menace during the next ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme.

The Open Forums invites you to talk about the menace of drugs. Share how you feel this menace can be mitigated, what steps can be taken to get youngsters out of this. You can share anecdotes – how you saved children from this menace of drugs or if you have had a personal experience. NGOs working in this sphere should contribute. Your contribution would be a major step in freeing India from the menace of drugs.

Sir, is problem se nipatne ke liye jyada se jyada ad aane chahiye print & electronic media main nashe se hone wali beemariyon ke bare main, nasha yane mout kind of dar create hona chahiye, second chote bachchon ki age se he course books main nasha ke nuksan padhye jane chahiye, is disha main kam kar rahe NGOs ko protsahit karna chahiye aur sabse important ..health wealth family reputation career sabko destroy karne wale nashe se mukt bharat ka sankalp hum sabko lena hoga.....

One more point on my first post, once everything goes well, now these Drug Gangs become greedier to make more and cheaper drugs by adding chemical or other substance and in some case, may cause 1000s of live lost. Good example is “No Alcohol in Gujarat State” but yet you can find it every day, anywhere and any amount you want by paying some extra money.

Respected PrimDruge-Minister to mitigate Drug Menance spreading in young students in schools and colleges and even in rural areas and slums. It is very important that from 8th class onward in every school and college of India weather Govt. iInstitution or Private Institution there should be a reguler class held to inform the destructive effects drug addiction in there Health ,Body, Mind .It will ruine there family social standing.There should be a continious drive with the help of T.V ,Radio

Well, we need Education on this matter!!! Educating youngsters or who uses the drug is more important than pointing fingers to other whom bringing and selling it or blaming to police. By forcing or stopping the ways it gets to individuals who uses it, may increases their desire more to get it and they will find the ways to get it and you will form more Drug Gangs and Police Corruption. Also, the same people Drug Gangs and police will support government movement so called “Say No To Drugs”.

Respected PM, Please try to open more and more drug rehab centres and make their working monitored via a national, state-level bodies headed by retired Supreme Court and High court judges. also these bodies should have retired defense personnel as their members take help of ex-servicmen in spreading awareness regarding drug abuse. Sir, also make sure state police are more sympathatic and efficient in their role and attitude towards drug addicts who are weak at mental level and vulnerable too.

आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री जी , भारत में नकली दवाओं के व्यापार को हतोत्साहित करने के लिये हर जनपद के किसी अच्छे फार्मेसी कालेज में केंद्रीय सरकार या राज्य सरकार के आधीन दवा गुणवत्ता परख प्रयोगशालाओं की स्थापना करनी चाहिये, जहाँ फार्मेसी विज्ञान की पढाई करने वाले छात्र -छात्राओं को एक नए ढंग के कौशल विकास की शिक्षा दी जा सके । इस उपक्रम से नकली एवं अनुपयुक्त दवाओं के कालाबाजारी पर लगाम लगेगी तथा छात्र व्यवहारिक रूप से भी राष्ट्र के विकास में अपना नैतिक योगदान दे सकेंगे। सुशान्त कुमार श्रीवास्तव

I suggest you to kindly ask manufacturers of Ayurvedic units to prepare a small but attractive [GOLI] alike lemmon drop or sweet candy which would make the person who chews it to concentrate his/er job and or even when there is no work at all.This L'drop or S'candy should replace the unwanted Drugs and you can name it as"SayNo2Drug".Ofourse proper marketing with guidance is needed to promote this product.They can add essence,flavour to attract the user easily & give a chance to relive withdignit

police fully responsible to drug paddlers because they directly involve to give protections by take some percentage of money in spite of open supply of drugs in city and villages and police wholly reponsible for that system and make a special cell for cure that drug trafficking in every distt level and city level with ngo cooperation and make strict rule for police dept because their clerical system totally corruptable because they make some worng note to save them and protect them

Indian Middle Class families with adolescent children are scared of African Students both male & female in Hyderabad/Secunderabad city, who are into selling drugs & other trades. These students(maybe a very miniscule exceptions) pay high rents(owners though happy,but unaware of impending dangers),do partying,roam around old cars & dts bikes etc, making Indian citizens wary(seen specially around sainikpuri area & other colleages which give admission).Needs to be looked at,(2yrs backGoa incident)

doctor selling of drugs should be banned because doctors also involve in this traffiking of drug because they mix one or two drug without any necesiety and this is only supporting relaxing throw all ministry of related these department and in reply doctor or drug stores say they give bribe money from lower to upper level ministry or related dept in states. this will prevented throw direct responsibilites of drug trafficking to each and every officer in this charge because they take bribe
