Drugs is an outcome of persistent CONFLICT RIDDEN in a socities. Drugs peddling,consuming/Human Trafficking/arms smuggling and poverty all inter connected and inter dependent. To ease pressure off a society/community its a must that govt/state ensures a healthy society through proper policing.Look at Manipur in my observation drug menace has increased steadily in last 2 yrs. Create employment, good education for all, good health care, entertainment. Tackle insurgency with iron fist.

firstly teach study in school about Drugs
because people not start drugs in young age. they start child age.
i think
govt. would make rules. child do not buy drugs in shop and other side's
take action for drug supplier, they do not sell and buy.
give one chance for law and next time don't relive their

to reduce the menace which is mainly city cetric -- make it mandatory to each housing society to cover front road by cc tv camera attached to city police control room ,which will also help reduce other city crimes and women safety --- put fine if camera is not working --- rest public open spaces to be covered by muncipal corporations

In most of the cases the local police remains aware of such activities. If, the laws are implemented honestly and strictly by the implementing agencies, not only the menace of drug is mitigated but all other bad activities in the society shall be mitigated. As being suggested through add/NGO/school/colleges, in my opinion all are corrupt. We should make efforts to streamline our police force, if it is streamlined most of the evils itself mitigated. Only"DANDA" will solve all problems.

In my view Govt. should make the awareness in the community by giving the add/through NGO/at school/college level and make the law for illegal sale of banned drug. The Govt. should enhanced the standard of education & give start the skilled base education at school/college level so that the students may start own business. if he/she did not get the job & give the benifit in tax

1. "Authentic" spiritual leaders can help in this matter with the support of the govt.
2. Entertainment industry can produce movies and TV series like "Subah" that have helped in the past.
3. Dysfunct families should be identified and given counselling and support.
4. Create awareness about good food habits that are low in meat, spices, soda, sugars, aphrodisiac and preservatives.
5. Even ordinary cough/cold medicines that contain drugs can increase the pre-disposition to drug addiction.
