During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Radio programme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared that a large number of people have been talking to him about the increase in usage of drugs. The Prime Minister described this as a very serious issue and assured that he will talk about the menace during the next ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme.

The Open Forums invites you to talk about the menace of drugs. Share how you feel this menace can be mitigated, what steps can be taken to get youngsters out of this. You can share anecdotes – how you saved children from this menace of drugs or if you have had a personal experience. NGOs working in this sphere should contribute. Your contribution would be a major step in freeing India from the menace of drugs.

I&B Ministry may sponsor/conduct extensive talk shows with A class anchors on major TV channels involving parents, care-givers, teachers and hostel wardens, along with real life de-addicted and rehabilitated people, and eminent psychiatrists who have proven track record in de-addiction as their specialty. This is completely absent now. It will cost money but it will be worth it.

if the parents, the teachers, the elders in the family, the family friends, even the parents of the child's friends keep a vigil it is very simple way to eradicate any menace.but our problem is everybody is busy.the child is supposed to perform in the school college as a topper.the parents abuse the child in various ways.the child has no body as a guide.he sees various forms of entertainment some of which show drug abuse and gets hooked.since around him all are busy none notice the change.too late

create a separate police force to control activity of PAK. it is responsible for drugs, fake currency, sending terrorist and sleeper cell. All use same group of people. They operate on the same group of people. Catch them and everything will be eroded. Certain political parties are also involved in this, e.g. punjab, etc. make strict law and enforce them. Petrol using dogs and checking surprise places, etc. Appoint special cell to keep watch and another cell to make arrest.

Integrate existing institutions - Create one unified Bureau - better coordination - under the PMO 4. Specially trained elite force be raised 5. Engage youth in sports / ample job opportunities 6. Involve socio-religious institutions 7. Seizures - Prize money - raise significantly 8. Special Courts- Time bound -very stringent punishment Regards, Rajkaran Singh Bhatti, 9780005656

1.Sir sabse pahle production band hone chahiye 2.Agar possible nahi hai to uske liye AGE k aadhar pe LICENSE hone chahiye jisme bhi limitation hone chahiye 3.LICENSE banwane k liye, candidate ke sath unke parents ko with proof ana aniwarya kiya jaye, medical checkup ho aur jo medically fit aur healthy hai usko hi license diya jaye 4.Without LICENSE inki khariddari aur bikri pe Emandari se action ho 5 GANJAA bikri pe rok ke liye local POLICE aur Ense jude Dept ko Emandari dikhani chahiye

My view on this is the laws are sufficient, it's just implementation where we lag. if we can implement laws strictly & also can make police act strongly against the powerful, this can be stopped. NOTHING WRONG CAN HAPPEN WITHOUT POWERFUL PERSON SUPPORT. BE IT POLITICIAN, BUSINESS MAN OR POLICE. police needs to be more powerful & court proceedings shouldn't take years to complete.
