During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Radio programme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared that a large number of people have been talking to him about the increase in usage of drugs. The Prime Minister described this as a very serious issue and assured that he will talk about the menace during the next ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme.

The Open Forums invites you to talk about the menace of drugs. Share how you feel this menace can be mitigated, what steps can be taken to get youngsters out of this. You can share anecdotes – how you saved children from this menace of drugs or if you have had a personal experience. NGOs working in this sphere should contribute. Your contribution would be a major step in freeing India from the menace of drugs.

the next topic for mann ki baat should be crime free india - how to get rid of professional and hardened criminals like extortionist robbers killers kidnappers etc.

Respected Sir I want to inform you that the most diseased state from drug in India is Punjab.Apart from this at many railway stations in Bihar & Jharkhand ,the selling of GUTKHA ,PAN MASALA and smoking in not banned so far.Further ,I request you to look into the matter very seriously. times of india delhi news today - robbers struck at garib rath IIIrd ac coach at mohan nagar ghaziabad, up to loot a passenger on resisting the looters, they cut his ear and threw him out of train and coming train cut his two legs and an hand and he died at a hospital. such crimes are common in up, bihar and elsewhere. how such crimes be contained?

plz stop selling the drugs.now a days it is easily available.if it available in market they will consume that.and also stop selling acids publicly that is a danger for our women.

if there's a caution notice "smoking kills" written on the every cigarette pack then why govt allow them to sell in public.do our govt only see the the one side of the coin i.e. profit to exchequer, what about the degrading health of our wealth.the youth.on an avg youth consumes 2-3 packets of cigarette,10-12 gutkhas per day.by this poor health can india be a superpower oneday.they have to stop consuming that rubbish things.like gujarat u earned a reputation of drystate BAN guthkha and cigaretes

Producers and bulk suppliers,.mediators.and carriers work as syndicate under the protection of corrupt politicians,law enforcers and organised crime gangs at national and international level by using blackmoney,sexrackets,worldwide network and arms..To eradicate it these people and their protectors have to be identified,chased and brought to books first. Then Youth should be motivated by yoga and counselling.to say No to drugs and narcotics. SHIV OM MITAL(This space is too short to express)
