During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Radio programme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared that a large number of people have been talking to him about the increase in usage of drugs. The Prime Minister described this as a very serious issue and assured that he will talk about the menace during the next ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme.

The Open Forums invites you to talk about the menace of drugs. Share how you feel this menace can be mitigated, what steps can be taken to get youngsters out of this. You can share anecdotes – how you saved children from this menace of drugs or if you have had a personal experience. NGOs working in this sphere should contribute. Your contribution would be a major step in freeing India from the menace of drugs.

Part 3 / 5 : GOVT / SOCIETY HAS A ROLE TOO TO KEEP OUR YOUTH ENGAGED ! Govt.& Society has a big role in preventing the IDLE MINDS FROM BECOMING DEVIL'S MIND & one way is to keep them ENGAGED IN SOCIAL / PUBLIC ACTIVITIES, is to provide jobs which should keep them engaged & problems gets solved automatically. IN A WAY, ECONOMIC UPLIFTMENT OF AREA / NEWER JOB / GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES ETC.. ARE THE BEST WAY TO CONTAIN DRUG MENACE & EVERY GOVT. / SOCIETY SHOULD WORK TOWARDS THIS!

Part 4/5: NIP THE EVIL IN THE BUD – OUR YOUTH ARE POWER HOUSE OF OUR NATION! Starting point/initial stage in the DRUG MENACE is very crucial & every effort should be made to NIP THE EVIL IN THE BUD, ELSE IT MAY GROW TO AN UNIMAGINABLE PROPORTION - which is difficult to control later on! Friends, Parents, Teachers, Hostel Wardens, Police, Law Makers, Spiritual Gurus, Society, as a whole–each one of them has a responsibility towards controlling this, in their own & best capacity. LET’S DO IT!!

Part 5/5: LET’S ALSO GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO RECOUP FROM PAST MISTAKE! While law of the land, for any criminal act, sd prevail at any cost, let’s also ensure that, THE STIGMA OF THE SOCIAL EVIL DO NOT SPOIL THE CAREER/LIFE OF OUR YOUTH FOR HIS/HER MAIDEN MISTAKE , TO AN EXTENT THAT, IT BECOMES IRREVERSIBLE !– May be, Society sd be generous enough to give them a chance to recoup from their past mistake! Repeated violation of law & unwarranted acts shall however be dealt as per law of the land.

Silent entanglement of the drug abuse and tackling> make alert and enlighten family & communities> set up a campaign to detect it & prevent populist fears> prevent the inflow of illicit drugs: lethal, subversive & alien> check drug distribution about educational institutions> curricular reforms & crash training programs> drugs on strict prescription> mobilize volunteers> proper licensing > monitor quality of drugs> Block online traffickers and pharmacies> intervention and de addiction centers

Books like "Nashe se Saavdhan" written by Shri LeelaRam Ji (LeelaShah Ji for Muslim community) should be taught to every student in school in X and XII. http://books.google.co.in/books?id=b1k--54dzRsC&printsec=frontcover#v=onepage&q&f=true It really helps in giving support and motivation to remove bad habits and avoid other friends to get trapped in such inferior and life degrading things.

Sir G,भारत की जनसंख्या का 65% युवा होना जो ब्रम्हान्ड मे बताकर जश्न हम मनायेंगे शेष 35% ने क्या message दिया जनसंख्या वृद्धि दर?और अधूरे संस्कार!रोहतक की बस मे दो बच्चियों के साथ छेड़छाड़-पूरी बस के यात्रियों ने बेहद शरीफाना परिचय दिया भारत किसी एक शरीफ का देश नहीं-शरीफों का देश है और ऐसी घटनाओं के Entertainment मे सबसे ज्यादा शरीफों को आनन्द आता है(एक शोध)!देश का पुलिस बल भी इसी समाज के बीच से आया है और आयेगा ।1500 व्यक्तियों पर एक constable(एक रिपोर्ट )।हमारे यहाँ तो 5000 पर एक का औसत होगा मानसिक रूप से बोझिल व्यक्ति से स्वच्छ उम्मीद ?सारा कुछ जनता के बीच के अच्छे प्रबंध कर्ता Manage करते है।हा-हा-हा हम तो और शरीफ हो गये। वंदेमातरम् ।क्षमा प्रार्थना के साथ।

For checking drug menace, Shift Resources like: 1. A strict law be enforced to curb drug menace and court cases be tried under fast track courts. Restore Justice. 2. A total ban on drugs supply in disco/pubs be enforced strictly. 3. Media be used extensively 4. A new National Crime Agency to tackle drug. 5. Rehabilitation centers and make Treatment Available on Request Like Any Other Health Service. 6. Commission on Narcotic Drugs and its effectiveness of international cooperation.

-Institution responsible for arresting drug menace must act against drug trafficking rather using media educating drug consumer of its impact-It appears as if these institution working like bringing drug trafficker and drug cons.face to face by media publicity, wherein we find negligible impact of anti drug institution to arrest trafficking but see lot of tutoring to drug consumer of its impact-It is questionable that drug consumer can trace the drug trafficker but not institution responsible?
