We bring to you this wonderful news that our city-Pasighat has been selected under 23 fast track cities by Govt. of India and we need to submit the revised plan by 15th April 2016. As we know that we worked very hard in our previous attempt however unfortunately we missed coming in the first 20 list of cities and finished at 39th rank - missing by just 3 points. Let us take this as a positive feedback that we were very close to winning it and were far ahead of many other big cities.

Looking ahead, we need to work on the gaps identified by Govt. of India to revamp the proposal. One of the key weaknesses identified is SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat) analysis. Here, specifically, Weakness and Threat needs to be more elaborate. We have uploaded a discussion page on mygov portal about this aspect of proposal and need support of people of Pasighat to come up in big numbers and contribute towards this discussion. Let’s brace up for this challenge and work with renewed and reinvigorated spirit in the direction of making Pasighat a smart city.

Unlike other cities of Arunachal Pradesh, the location of Pasighat itself has a big advantage, having large swaths of open land and no dearth of shortage of drinking water if tapped properly. With the introduction of Municipality Council, the constructions and other developmental activities are being monitored and regulated.

Documents can now be stored and shared with other colleagues online.[9] E-governance makes it possible for employees to become paperless and makes it easy for employees to send important documents back and forth to colleagues all over the world instead of having to print out these records or fax[10] G2E services also include software for maintaining personal information and records of employees. Some of the benefits of G2E expansion include:

E-Governance to Employee partnership Is one of four main primary interactions in the delivery model of E-Governance. It is the relationship between online tools, sources, and articles that help employees maintain communication with the government and their own companies. Over the years, many drainage systems were constructed but due to irregular maintenance and paucity of funds, many have been rendered useless. Proper planning is needed before implementation. If well laid out Pasighat can be the most hygienic city in entire north east region.

E- Governance G2C technology can be problematic for citizens who lack computing skills. some G2C sites have technology requirements (such as browser requirements and plug-ins) that won't allow access to certain services, language barriers, the necessity for an e-mail address to access certain services, and a lack of privacy.

All the organic and non-organic wastes have to be separated and sent for recycling. The organic wastes can be treated and later on used as manures etc. hence, a treatment plant with sufficient staffs, can be made functional at the outskirts of the city.
