Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until ...

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

celebration of 150 anniversary of mahatma Gandhi ji.we have to know contribution of mahatma Gandhi ji. gandhi ji want to freedom from slaves and slave thinking but now we have democracy and freedom our thinking are slave because 'naukri, word are represent slaves for example in english word employee not represent slave Ness but naukri word show slave ness now time research and generate new word for indian people like sevashri or pratksram its 150 birthday gift for mahatma gandhi ji by us

Dear sir It is related with the agriculture. When farmers go to market to sell their products. There is many cuttings are done by market committee from farmers money to sell their own dhan and other thigs. Please sir do something in that.

Dearsir I just want to highlight the cocern about the scheme of UJWALA yojana. In this scheme many families get gas but govt. Is recovering that subsidy in next fillings of gases. That should also not do. Also those who can not take their own gas then how can they fill those gas at their own. Govt. Should give those gases on direct subsidy on purchase of it. Many families have take gases but their earning is not sufficient to fill those at every month so they put it to side after first use.

Modiji, every year 16 crore kids leaves primary education for poverty.Every kids doesn't have same merit. Aalits and Adibasis don't Have sufficient merits. For this reason school syllabus should be divided in groups like A,B,C,D. A group will have vast syllabus for meritorious students. B group will have less syllabus than a Group. D group will have least amoumnt of syllabus.
