Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until ...

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

Last date of submission is 15th June, 2018, 05:00PM

Dear Sir, we truly seeing the changes in digital India initiatives. I would like to thank to you for the big changes which is made in last four years. As a common man my expectation is connecting rivers over the nation. some part having good water flow through out the year some parts of nation have big demand. If you take step to connect rivers you are the great. I fell Vajpayee ji started big action to connect all over India through roads. Looking same action for rivers. Thank you Ji.

Dynasts are gathering moment because your government is not taking action with IT raids due to family relations and business relatikns with your BJP legislators and their relatives. MK Gandhi ji had asked to disband the Congress and it could not happen and with Karnataka experience, all dynast are joining hands due to NO Lokayukta, no action against loan defaulters of these dynast, no IT raids on such Filthy rich. You are responsible for this inaction and why political compulsions for you?

PM shall take strict action against IAS officers who are enjoykng the Democracy with immunity at the cost of many RSS leadrs who were sent to Jail during Emergency and these IAS officers depliyed in PMO and as Principle Secretaries do not reply to e mails of START UP companies who have signed MoU wiyh state Govt, hence, GRAM swaraj as envisioned by Mahatma Gandhi ji is beyond a reality including frw in your PMO and the Chief secretaries dont care your PMO directives or letters. v cn submit proof

6 themes are : 1) character building initiative at school , college & univeristy level. 2.) channelising of studies based upon interest and talent at school level. 3.) celebrating swachta month by commemorating our fellow sewpers and safai workers at district,teh, block , village and panchayat level.4.) women's month to highlight their importance in society building and lessen the gender gap. 5.)'Sabb Jan Harijan' month- all are equal,no caste based society ony occupation matters. माननीय मोदी जी |नमस्कार जी| मै जब भी निजी स्वार्थ के लिये दलित शब्द का दुरुपयोग देखता हूं कभी मीडिया द्वारा कभी कुछ राजनेता द्वारा तो बडा कष्ट होता है हम किसी को दलित कहके उसको हीन भावना का अनुभव क्यु करवाते है. जैसे किसी बालमिकी समाज के भाई को गलत शब्द कहने पर जेल भेजने का कानून है वैसा ही कानून किसी को दलित कहने पर भी होना चाहिए एेसा करने पर कईयो की दलितो के नाम की ठेकेदारी बंद हो जाएगी . हम सब एक ईश्वर की संतान है. सब बराबर हैं
