Suggestions Invited for Monthly themes to be taken as part of the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until ...

As a run up to the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, citizens will be encouraged to take up creative activities each month. Every month a theme would be taken up until October 2, 2020 from October 2, 2018 onwards. Mahatma Gandhi in his seminal book, Constructive Programme Its Meaning and Place had talked about 18 constructive programmes. He had stressed that more programmes could be added as time passed. The 18 constructive programmes included: Communal Unity; Removal of Untouchability; Prohibition; Khadi; Village Industries; Village Sanitation ; Nai Talim or Basic Education; Adult Education; Women; Knowledge of Health and Hygiene; Provincial languages; National Language; Economic Equality; Kisans; Labour; Adivasis; Lepers ; Students.

By involving the above 18 themes in 18 months, six more months would be remaining.

Ideas are invited from the citizens on six more themes to be taken in six months. The ideas should be relevant for our contemporary society.

Those who submit the best themes could be given certificates

Last date of submission is 15th June, 2018, 05:00PM

I believe one of the major reasons are 1. contractors are not following timeliness of completion of public projects and 2. they don't dump properly after excavation of sand and wastage.. Once the project is done contrator leaves the roads as it is and that sand dunes go here and there showing bad picture of cities. so many live examples in every city and small town. Govt should ensure the treatment of excavation waste in public construction by the contractors itself it will help in cities clean

In respect to celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji, Hon. PM has made great of effort for swachchhata mission which was prime thought of Gandhiji, I want to suggest that,hon.PM has also aim to clean Maa Ganga,the mission of clean Ganga is going on, but,it requires mass man power to clean it early,it is possible to clean Ganga within completion of 150th years,but,Govt.should provide infra and facilities, while people from each corner of our nation will contribute,best wishes

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी मैने कई बार उत्तर प्रदेश जनसनुवाई पोर्टल पर शिकायत दर्ज करवाया किंतु इसका उचित निस्तारण नही किया गया अतः आप से मेरी र्पाथना है कि मेरी समस्या पर उच्चस्तरीय जॉच करे। मैने कई बार मेल के माध्यम से माननीय उत्तर प्रदेश व मध्य प्रदेश मुख्यमंत्री जी को भी अवगत कराया परंतु उनके तरफ से भी संतोषजनक उत्तर नही मिला अतः आप मेरी अंतिम उम्मीद है। अन्यथा मेरे पास खुदकुशी के अलावा कोई चारा नही है या तो मेरे द्वारा कोई कार्यवाही होगी तो इसकी जवाबदेही आप सभी सम्मानित महानुभाव की होगी।

Respected PM Shri Modiji, This post is regarding the hardship of the 6 Lakh account holders & depositors of Rupee Co-op. Bank Ltd., Pune, Maharashtra. Most of them are of lower middle class, pentioners who have deposited their funds in Rupee Bank & the interest was the only source of income for them. Now it is more than 5 years the bank is under the control of RBI through Administrators because of the defaulters. The matter is getting serious. Pl. take immediate action to merge it in PSU Bank.

21st century skill development to be mandated in educational institutions. Solves 3 major problems 1. Skilled work force ready 2. Skilled person creates employment for self & others 3. Less burden on government for giving jobs
