Promote indeginous industries like Khadi products, Banarsi Saree, Kanchiveram handloom by subsidising and providing marketing and branding support. The concerned department can hire popular stars and models for promoting the products in general. The Government if possible can also facilitate participation in international trade fairs with facilitators who can help the manufacturer in interacting with foreigners and participants. If Govt can subsidise pilgrimage tours surely this should be looked

Manufacturing is a technical subject and persons who can do this are Engineers, technocrats, technicians and skilled workers. For some reasons, we downgrade engineers as against other professions. Yes, I agree there are some corrupt engineers but which profession does not?
So, first of all, we must start respecting engineers and technicians. Second, the technical education should be overhauled from top to bottom. Theory first experiments later to Experiments first & develop theory later.

1) cut red tapism. 2) faster and transparent approvals- introduce online submission of everything minimising human interaction which leads to chances of corruption 3) online system where the comments , observations by the concerned officials must all be thru the system. The turnaround time for reverts should be strictly monitored. 4) one of the biggest requirements is the availability of latest technology to the manufacturing industry. Promoting r&d and making it available for upgradation is key

Practice oriented Production Engineers may be sent to Australia and other countries to see the products sold in big Plazas. They can see the products manufactured in different countries including China, Korea, German etc. They can know the demand of some goods. Establish manufacturing hubs in every State of India. Give employment to all the communities.Teach them in their mother tongues of the States. Small scale manufacturers in China and Korea don't know English. Don't impose Hindi.

Infrastructure is the basis first to set up including transportation facilities, Road connectivity, Electricity. Even, the City has poor infrastructure laid and people to spend more time on road due to roads. i think, this is primary structure for any next level growth Gov. to focus. Even, the roads are laid become temporary due to lots of intermediate and get diluted when real work happen and public is ultimate suffer.

In manufacturing sector, the automation is rapidly growing, which indirectly affect the use of an engineer, but the ratio of engineers increases day by days, which ultimately affect the employment, indirectly the salary range decreased resulting huge unemployment. We have produced mass production of engineers,we should have to produce less but quality engineers instead.

I belong to those area where u can get 10 out of 8 graduates people but no use becoz he can't think above the particular level, he satisfied with monthly 5k to 6k and 90% of his salary goes to pan wala and theke wala. How you can plan Innovative India when people like this never want to think about the country. I appreciate your thoughts but you are working in metros level not in economically backward areas of India, they already educated they don't need infacat focus on small district of India
