Ministry of Electronics and IT has drafted a Data Centre policy to benefit the Data Centre park developers/Data Centre operators as well as the allied ecosystem of the Data Centre sector. The policy envisages making India a Global Data Centre hub, promote investment in the sector, propel digital economy growth, enable provisioning of trusted hosting infrastructure to fulfill the growing demand of the country and facilitate state of the art service delivery to citizens. This document lays out a policy framework including various structural / regulatory interventions, investment promotion in the sector, possible Incentivization mechanisms along with the institutional mechanism required for the governance. The policy framework also seeks to strengthen the recently announced “AatmaNirbhar Bharat” initiative by identifying possible opportunities of manufacturing of Data Centre equipment (IT as well as non-IT) in the country. It also identifies possible areas of participation by MSMEs and Start-ups.

The policy intends to ensure sustainable and trusted Data Centre capacity within the country. This policy framework shall be followed by a detailed scheme with implementation guideline document providing the particulars of various fiscal and non-fiscal incentives to be provided to the sector by the Central and State Government.

For the same, Ministry of Electronics and IT invites citizen suggestions on the Draft Data Center Policy 2020.

Dear Sir, In New Budget a Voluntary National Contribution Plan should be introduced,where any citizen or collective body can contribute his own freely without any limit with a minimum of ₹101/- for the nation each year. Such accumulated fund should be utilised for national security, public health child education and research. It is pertinent to review our laws relating to Data Protection as a part of the policy for Data Centres because the privacy of the data stored and the security thereof, being a growing concern globally, is what will set Indian Data management apart.

আমার মনে হয় কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার যে সমস্ত পরিষেবামূলক প্রকল্প চালু করেছে সেগুলি এককভাবে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার পরিচালনা করুক, নতুবা শুধুমাত্র রাজনৈতিক বিরোধী তার কারনে সাধারণ মানুষ সেগুলি উপভোগ করতে পারছেনা।যেমন আয়ুস্মান। ভারত কিংবা চাষীদের ব্যাংক খাতায় ছয় হাজার টাকা করে পাবার সুযোগ পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মানুষ শুধুমাত্র রাজনৈতিক বিরোধী তার কারনে উপভোগ করতে পারেনি। কেন্দ্রীয় ভর্তুকি সরাসরি মানুষের ব্যাংক খাতায় জমা করলে মাঝরাস্তায় কমিশন লুটে নেবার সুযোগ থাকেনা আর সরকারের ভাবমূর্তি উজ্জ্বল ও স্বচ্ছ হয়।

আমার মনে হয় কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার যে সমস্ত পরিষেবামূলক প্রকল্প চালু করেছে সেগুলি এককভাবে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার পরিচালনা করুক , নতুবা অনেক প্রকল্পের সুবিধা দেশের সমস্ত অংশের মানুষ শুধুমাত্র রাজনৈতিক বিরোধীতার কারনে উপভোগ করতে পারছেনা।যেমন আয়ুস্মান ভারত প্রকল্পের কিংবা চাষীদের অ্যাকাউন্টে 6000 টাকা করে পাবার সুযোগ পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মানুষ শুধুমাত্র রাজনৈতিক বিরোধীতার কারনে উপভোগ করতে পারেনি। কেন্দ্রীয় ভর্তুকি সরাসরি মানুষের ব্যাংক খতায় জমা টাকার অংকে জমা করলে মাঝরাস্তায় কমিশন লুটে নেবার সুযোগ থাকেনা

The data is the foundation of any scheme, budget etc. Our data collection or statistical department shall be able to produce actual data. For this purpose we must keep separate little budget for district level multipurpose data collection centers. So that we can get actual data about success of any scheme, poverty, infrastructure, corruption, living standards of the people etc. etc.

One question to you please. I still remember the days before you getting elected, CONGRESS had increased the prices of fuel to 80+ Indian Rupees. That is the time, you promised that the prices will be dropped, which was dropped for sometime but the days have gone and the prices are equivalent. We and our hopes without any income at the time of COVID-19 crisis and the prices yet seems to be increasing never decreasing. i understand everybody's pocket is empty, are we jobless people have to pay
